1. introductions

"YOU IDIOT!"

You were in the forest with your clanmate Longtail. He had just missed a rabbit and rolled off the edge of the rock pile you were on.

Not to mention this was your final assessment before you became a warrior, you knew your mentor had to be nearby watching, but hopefully she didn't see what just happened.

You had no idea Longtail was even trying to catch the same prey as you. You were extremely angry that you had lost a valuable piece of prey to his clumsiness.

You growled before running off into the forest, not even going to see if he was alright from the fall. Honestly. You didn't really care.

You had more important things to do besides socializing with a cat like him. You stalked and caught few mice and birds by the twoleg place before deciding it was good enough.

Suddenly your mentor jumped down from a nearby tree and trotted to you.

"Nicely done y/n," she purred "Let's take your prey back to the clan and find out when your warrior ceremony is"

You leaped with joy and helped her gather your prey before heading back to camp.

That sunhigh Bluestar made you a warrior, your name was now y/n. You heard a voice chidding nearby.

"Why make such a weak cat a warrior? I'm sure it would be better if she was a medicine cat instead."

You turned your head in the direction of the voice, finding the problem. You fixed a glare on Longtail but your mentor gave him a hard shove that silenced him.

You heard paws approaching and looked forward again to see Greypaw scampering towards you.

"Congratulations y/n! I can't wait till I'm a warrior!" He mewed enthusiastically

You purred in amusement.

"Well you have a long way to go, you were only just made an apprentice"

"I know but still!" He meowed

"Well I look forward to it, maybe you'll be made a warrior for something interesting like winning a battle." You said warmly

"Maybe, either way I can't wait!"

"Well I gotta go sit guard so I'll leave you to it!" You mewed and walked away
