Dear Journal,
Last night. He died. This morning, we saw the note. It said something along the lines of "Dear Jasper, this isn't the only letter I've written. I wrote one to two others but I felt that I needed to write a letter to all three of you or it would feel wrong. Anyways, I've written a letter to you to say I'm not sorry. I know I should be because I'm leaving you behind but I'm not. You knew how unhappy I was. I know how unhappy you are. This is dragging out too long, I have something hidden for you, under the tree we met at, I hope you find it. I hope you keep holding on. Love, Eddie West" I cried for hours after I found out. I'm going to go to the tree later, I'm going to find what he left for me. And I'm never going to tell anyone about it.
Sincerely,
Jasper Duke
