"Now follow me," he said as he stood up and walked out of the building. I didn't really want to be alone as confused as I was. I followed him, trying really hard to keep up with him. Not wanting to be alone in this strange world, I quickly got up and followed him out of the building. We walked to the town's best inn.
"This is where the company is meeting," Mr. Avery explained.
"Hello Mr. Avery, who do you have with you?" Someone asked from one of the nearby tables.
"I bring with me y'all's newest member sir Kolton," Mr. Avery said.
"Come join us in the conference rooms," the man said as he got up and gestured for the rest of the people with him at the table to do the same. Mr. Avery and I followed them into a side door. Everybody took a seat around the oval shaped granite table in the room. I guessed that there was a special order to the way they were sitting, but I don't know.
"Okay everybody, this is the newest member to our company," one of the men at the head of the table said as he gestured towards me. "To start introductions, I will lead by example. I am Kolton of Nabu, I am a human unlike the rest of my company."
"But I am also human," I said.
"We will see, we will see," Kolton said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Never mind, it doesn't matter. Let's continue with introductions." Kolton said as he gestured to the person to his left.
The man that he gestured to stood up and said, "I am Thomas the elf of the eldest race." Thomas sat down.
The next person that stood up said, "I am Jose, former heir to a throne." He said it with a bit of sadness so I decided not to ask of the story.
As Jose sat down, the person to his right stood up saying, "I am Jade, prince of Adobiy."
The next person stood up saying, "I am Simon of Nezza," he sat down. Kolton stood back up and gestured for me to go.
