Okay so for now this story is an experiment. I will post a couple of chapters and if people read it and like it then I will keep writing it. If not then I will move on to another story. Also most chapters will be short. NOT EDITED

Perfect: Perfect does not exist. Don't go searching for perfect, because you will never find it. Nothing, nobody is perfect. Perfection is a lie. An illusion. Think you know the perfect person? The perfect family? Think again. Everything has it's secrets. Stop wishing for perfect and you will be happier. Everything has its secrets, nothing is perfect. But maybe its better this way, because, after all, imperfection is beautiful.
"Those are perfect!" Valerie squealed in excitement. This was the last thing on their shopping list before the dance, shoes.
"They are the best ones so far" Miria said carefully as she stood on her toes examining the shoes. They were white sandals with a big white flower covering the majority of her foot, The flower was loose and moved with every step.
"The best ones so far? Are you joking? You won't do better than this Miria." Miria ignored her and continued,
"I mean at least I can walk in them, this is the only one you picked without a four inch heal" she added as she examined the box "but Val they are almost twice the cost I would like them to be."
"Thats what this is about, the cost? Miria I will pay for them for you in a heart beat."
"Seriously"
"Consider it an early Birthday present," Miria shot Valerie a shy smile.
"This is why you are my best friend."
"Because I buy you things? Wow Miria, I thought we had something special." Valerie said sarcastically. Miria rolled her eyes and said,
"You know what I mean, come on lets go before Logan eats the entire food court." Logan was both the girls best guy friend, he often went with them to the mall just to get a crap ton of food which he practically inhaled.
"Hey what can you do, teenage boys will be teenage boys." Both girls left the store laughing.

The next day Logan pulled up to Miria's house to pick her up for school, he honked twice, like he did everyday. Miria hopped up and yelled up the stairs, "Mom! I am leaving!" and before her mom could answer she was out the door.
Logan was leaning against his car with his arms folded, trying to be cool (as usual). Logan had messy brown hair and dark brown eyes. Being the only child in his family he pretty much got anything he wanted, it didn't help that his dad was a very successful business owner. Yet Logan was a very humble kid, he wore a plain t-shirt and a loose jacket, he had worn the same shoes everyday for half the school year and they looked like they could fall apart at any moment. The only really nice thing he owned other than his cell phone was his car.
"Well it took you long enough." he said jokingly.
"Hey! I was quick!" she said while giving him a push, "Now get in the car before I start to walk"
"Wait," he added, "guess what?"
"What?" She groaned with a sigh.
"It's your Birthday." He whispered with a smirk.
"Oh I am sooo glad you remembered, it's not like that is all Valerie has been able to talk about for the past week," she said with sarcasm, "I was worried you would forget." She smiled mischievously.
Logan through up his hands in defeat and spun around, walking towards the drivers side of the car.
Picking up Valerie was fun since she squealed and through her hands around Miria saying happy birthday. Logan rolled his eyes at their girly ness. She always made it a bigger deal than it actually was, but that was Valerie for you.
