Ao No Exorcist - Bon X Rin

Bon X Rin - Part 1

Hi all~
So because I love writing Ao No Exorcist Fanfic (as it's my favourite manga/anime!) I decided to try writing another one. This fic is not linked to the previous ones therefore Rin isn't with both Mephisto and Bon xP.

Rin POV

It's early morning, I think? I can see sun light flickering through my eyelids. Wait, if it's that bright outside, what time is it ?
Hmm, maybe Just five more minutes, and then I'll get up.
My chest, it feels heavy all of a sudden and I can hear somebody calling my name?
It's getting louder...
''Rin...Rin....RIN!''
I slide my eye lids open slowly allowing them to adjust to the blinding sun light.
When my eyes finally focused I realised I was face to face with my familiar Kuro as he stood atop my chest.
''Kuro, it isn't time for breakfast yet'' I groaned
before turning over, forcing him to adjust his position on top of me as I snuggled my pillow.
''Rin your going to be late again! Yukio left over an hour ago!'' He scolded.
I lay there in silence before the reality hit me.
It's a week day and I have classes!
Kuro leapt off of me as I yanked my duvet back and jumped out of bed.
I rushed to grab my phone, which was across the room on top of my very untidy desk.
As I unplugged it from it's charging cable the screen light up and displayed the time.
''Shit! I'm so going to be late! Why didn't that four eyes wake me!'' I growled.
'' well it wasn't from lack of trying''  Kuro responded with a chuckle.
I shot him a half hearted glare as he smiled back at me.

I crossed the room and grabbed my trousers, I began pulling them on whilst hopping across the room to grab my shirt.
Next, I rushed out of the room and down the hall to the bathroom to grab my tooth brush.
Shoving it in my mouth I started brushing my teeth as I walk back.
Once in the room I pulled my shirt on and tried very hard to do my buttons up as fast as possible. After I was finished with the buttons I grabbed my tie and put it around my neck.
''Rin...'' I heard Kuro call from his position on my bed.
I pulled the tooth brush from my mouth  ''Sorry Kuro, I don't have time to chat right now..'' I said frantically before shoving it back into my mouth to continue my very unsuccessful attempt at multiple tasking.
''But Rin, your tail...''
I paused for a second before looking behind me to see said tail swaying from side to side.
''Ahh! God damn it!!'' I yelled through the bubbles of tooth paste, before sprinting out of the room and back to the bathroom.

Turning the tap on I began rinsing my tooth brush as I gurgled mouth wash. Once I was finished I ran back to our room again.
''Great, now I have to undo everything and start over!'' I hissed to myself.
Pulling all of the buttons undone I wrapped my tail up around my chest before starting the process all over again.
'I really hate having to hide my tail' I thought to myself with a pout.

''Rin! '' Kuro scolded after noticing I had gotten distracted and was no longer getting ready.
The sound of his voice brought me back to reality, prompting me to check the time on my phone again.
''I'm so lateeee! wish my luck Kuro!'' I shouted as I pulled my blazer on and grabbed my sword  ''I'm going to need it...'' I whimpered as I left the room.
''Good luck Rin!'' He Purred.

Bon POV

Once I've woken up I go for a early morning jog, then I take a shower before having breakfast. Once I've eaten I'll sort out my hair and then head off to class with Shima and Konekomaru.
What I don't understand is how I manage to do all of that and still arrive at least 10 minutes early to class; Where as that brat Okumura probably just rolls out of bed, puts on his uniform and still manages to be late for class! Is he even trying!?
''Tch''
''What's wrong Bon?'' Shima mumbled through a yawn.
''He's late again! '' I hissed through my clenched teeth.
Shima laughed ''It's still bothering you huh? Just let it go~''
''He's right, there's no point in letting it get to you Bon.'' Konekomaru added.
I sighed. 'I know they're right, but it really gets under my skin, why is he even here?!'

The door opened with a creek and Mr Okumura entered the classroom. He placed his brief case down on his desk and greeted us as he usually does.
''Good morning class, today we will be learning about...''
He paused, staring at the empty seat next to Sheimi before squeezing the bridge of his nose with a sigh.
''Has anyone seen R...''
- BAM -
The door swung open as Rin stumbles into the classroom hunched over and panting.
''S-sorry I'm... Late...'' he managed to get out through his laboured breathing.
I was right! he really does just roll out of bed and come to class! His tie isn't even done up!

''Rin! You need to show up to class on time!'' Mr Okumura began lecturing his idiot of an older brother.
''Well you should of woke me!'' The idiot snapped back.
''I tried!'' Yukio yelled, frustration spreading across his features. ''Now sit in your seat! Your holding up the rest of the class!''
Rin mumbled under his breath as he stood up straight and walked towards his desk.

''Why do you even bother showing up~ '' I growled.
Rin turned in his seat, his eyes were fierce as he glared at me.
A shiver ran down my spine as his eyes captivated my own.
But something was wrong, he would usually shrug off my remarks, but today he...
''Bon...let it go..'' Shima laughed awkwardly; prompting Mr Okumura to cough in an attempt to break the tension in the room.
Releasing me from his devilish gaze Rin turned back around to face the board.
''The hell was that?'' I mumbled under my breath.

''Now that we are all here, I have a few things to discuss'' Mr Okumura began.
''As you all know, in two weeks time you will be sitting a exorcist written exam.''
''However, as of tomorrow we will be away for a week on spring break; this includes both the normal and cram classes.''
''Therefore, I am providing you with homework and revision sheets to help you study. But if you need any assistance or have any questions, I will still be on campus so please come and speak to me.
I expect good marks from all of.... well, most of you.''

''Yukio!'' Rin barked.

A chuckle slipped passed my lips, instantly drawing the attention of both of the Okumura twins.
''You wanna go to, stripe!!?'' The elder snapped.
''Rin! Enough'' Yukio shouted as he looked over at me with apologetic eyes.
The tension was back and the room fell silent.

A familiar laugh echoed from behind me.
''You two really are similar '' Shima chuckled as he held his hand over his mouth.
''huh?!? No we're not..!'' I protested in an aggressive tone before being cut off by
the school bell as it chimed to signal the end of class. ''Well that was a waste of a lesson'' I angrily grumbled to myself as I began packing up my books.

Mr Okumura sighed ''I apologise for my brothers behaviour, but I hope you all enjoy your time off and I will see you in one weeks time.''
Rin opened his mouth as if to argue but he didn't bother.
Once everyone had packed up their books we all began filtering out of the class room.
''Mr Suguro, can I speak with you a moment?'' Mr Okumura called out as I walked by his desk.
I turned around to face him before signalling to Shima and Konekomaru to go on ahead.
They nodded before leaving the room and closing the door.

''Am I in trouble?'' I asked.
''hm? Oh no not at all'' he said shaking his head. ''
'' I wanted to apologise, my brother he...''
''Don't worry about it'' I interrupted.
''Besides it shouldn't be you who is apologising Okumura Sensei.''
I lowered my head ''I'm also sorry for disrupting the class.''
'' There is no need for you to apologise'' Mr Okumura said with a smile.
'' But the reason I called you back was actually to ask if you would do me a favour?'' He continued with his not so innocent smile.
'' why do I have a feeling I won't like this ''favour''? I questioned.
'' haha, you won't, but your the only person I can ask. I mean, he looks up to you so I think he'd listen..''
''Nope! '' I cut him off again.
'' Please Suguro? I would tutor him myself but I don't have the time, with my own lessons, preparing lectures and attending exorcisms. You would really be doing me a favour.'' He pleaded.
'' why? He won't listen to me, besides we don't get along. I'm the worst choice!'' 
'' Just one session then? If he causes you any trouble then I won't ask you again. Please?''
He finished with pleading eyes.
I sighed before agreeing to his terms.
'' ok, fine, I'll do it, but you owe me and if he wastes my time I'm leaving''.
Mr Okumura's face light up as he thanked me and promised to make it up to me.

I had no plans to leave the academy over half term anyway so it isn't a big deal.
But it's going to be a huge headache teaching that moron, even if it is only for a few hours.
Will one week even be enough time?
