Chapter 1

Trini's POV

Being the new girl almost every school year is really hard. My family moved 4 times since we first moved from Angel Grove. The most recent move was this year to Briarwood, the arch enemies of Angel Grove. Its my freshman year and when I walked in, I noticed a couple people from my childhood. "Well if it isnt the dyke from the park. Hows it feel being alone now huh?" Of course Dinah is still a fucking giant. "Dinah stop. Thats really mean." A brunette girl with a bow says. "Hai I'm Camila. Im guessing you know Dinah. Thats Ally, Normani and-" "Lauren. Nice to see you again. Its been a while." I say as I see the green eyed girl. "Well if it isnt Trini, the clutz of the fifth grade. Hows your arm by the way? That was a pretty rough fall." She says as she breaks out her famous smirk. "My arm is fine. It healed well and I've even been able to play softball." I step up to the 5'4" girl and shake her hand. "Do you want to join us at lunch? Since you're new." Camila asks. I nod and start to head to my first class.

                                                                     *TWO HOURS LATER*
The bell for lunch rings and I gather my stuff and head to my locker. I put my stuff in there and when I close my locker door I see Camila standing next to me waiting to go to lunch. "How was class?" She asked when we sat down. "It was good. No one bothered me except for Dinah who I had in math." I say. As if she was listening, I feel a smack on my head. "Hey twerp, hey Walz." Dinah said as she sat down at the table next to Camila and a few minutes later Ally, Normani and Lauren sat at the table. "So Trini, how were your first classes at Briarwood?" Lauren asked. "They were good other than the giant throwing paper balls at me during math." I said, glaring at Dinah. She smirked and whispered something into Normani's ear, making her giggle. I look back towards Lauren and smirk hoping she's thinking the same thing as me. Not long after that we conversed until the bell rang signaling next period. "Trini wait up!" I hear lauren say. "Let me see your schedule just in case we have classes together." I hand her my schedule and she grins and hands it back to me. "I have the next couple classes with you so you can chill with me till school ends. And if you want you can hang with me and the girls after school, we are going to Angel Grove for donuts and a movie." she said as we walked to biology together. I nod and text my mom that im hanging with friends and I'll be home by dinner and will let her know if I stay out later. As the text sends the bell rings and class starts. 

                                                                   *SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL*

Me and Lauren pack our stuff up when the bell rings and we walk to my locker. "Sup ladies." I hear a cocky male voice walk up to us. "Really Chris? She's not interested." Lauren said. It went silent for a moment then I hear Chris go "Oh.......OHHHHHHH" Lauren smacks him upside the head and as he tries to walk away she grabs his shirt. "Make sure to pick up Tay and Maggie. Me and the girls are heading into Angel Grove for the afternoon." She tells him. He nods and she lets him walk to the exit doors, possibly heading to the middle school and elementary school. I close my locker and we head to Lauren's locker before heading out to her car, wherethe other girls were waiting. "Hey guys, Trini is gonna join us for the afternoon if thats cool with yall." they all nod and we squeeze into the car. 

                                                                              *SKIP CAR RIDE*

We pull into the Krispy Kreme parking lot and pile out of the car. We walk in and the rest of the girls go and find a booth that fits all of us. Me and Lauren walk up to the counter when Camila runs up. "Lolo can I have a donut with sprinkles please?" she asks. Lauren looks at her and Mila gives her puppy dog eyes causing her to sigh. She nods and Camila hugs her and kisses her cheek. We order what we want and pay, walking back to the booth to sit down. We talk about school and some other things when I hear the bell go off signaling someone walked in. Out of curiosity, I turn and see someone that I didn't think I'd see so soon walk in. I quickly turn back around before she sees me. "Holy shit Lauren!! Why is Kimberly Hart here?!?!" I whisper yell. She turns and smirks. "Mila, Trini. Follow me. This should be fun." We get up and follow Lauren to where the one and only Kimberly Hart sat. "Hart. didn't think to see you here. Hows Saturday detention doing you?" Lauren asks. I hide semi behind Lauren to where Kim cant see me but I can see her. "Well if it isn't Jauregui and Cabello. I see you have a new member. How'd you torture her this time?" I hear Kim say. Wanting to make myself known now, I step out and smirk. "Oh they didn't torture me, but this might be torture for you." I watch as the blood drains from her face. "T-Trini? Trini Kwan? Is that really you?" "In the flesh. Did you miss me?" She quickly looks me up and down when she stops at my head. "You still where the beanie I got you before you moved. I didn't think you'd wear it still." "Yea well its one of the few beanies I still have after we moved last time. I'll be right back." I turn and walk to the bathroom and quickly close the door before walking to the sink and wetting my face. I hold my face in my hands and groan when I hear the bathroom door open. I freeze and grab a paper towel to dry my face quickly. "Trini? Are you in here?" I hear the one voice I didnt want to hear right now. I stay quiet and quickly go into the closest stall and climb on the toilet. I see her bright pink converse walk to the stalls and she stops in front of the one I'm in. "Trini I know your'e in here. I can hear you breathing." curse my mouth breathing. I get down and exit the stall. "What do you want Hart? I have friends to get back to." I spit out and try to walk past her. She side steps me and I curse my family for being short. "I want to talk to you. I missed you. Why didn't you let me know you were back in Angel Grove?" "Its cause im not back in Angel Grove. I live in Briarwood. Now if you would excuse me, I have friends to hang out with." I bump past her and exit the bathroom. I walk back to the table and sit down groaning into my hands. "Wow shortstack, that must've been hard." Dinah said. I glare at her and eat my donut. "So what movie are we gonna see? I'm thinking maybe a horror film or something really gory or scary." We finish our donuts and get up to go back to the car. I sit shotgun and turn the radio on wanting to not think about the girl in pink right now.
