I tried to walk away from the kittypet as fast as possible so things wouldn't seem that awkward. I'm still steaming about what Cheetahstar did. It was uncalled for and rude, that's for sure. I'm going to teach him a lesson! And I will teach him a lesson. Tonight. And he can't stop me. Nobody knows my secret plans, and they never will. But still, I'm surprised the kittypet didn't want to join us! We're the coolest clan! And the strongest!
I saw her walking down the Firepath. As I saw a monster run by, I grabbed the kittypet's scruff and pulled her out of the path.
"Don't cross that again! It's only for the experienced apprentices, warriors, and leaders! You might get killed by a monster!"
She looked at me with a strange face and looked down at her paws.
"I thought long and hard about it.. And.." She began.

"I want to join Fireclan." I said proud, and strongly to this strange forest cat. She looked at me with a face of determination and acceptance, and then replied with words I wish I could hear all the time.
"See us at the moss rock when the sun meets the horizon. We will host a recruit and naming ceremony then. Hope to see you there!"
Later that day...
"We will begin our ceremony for our newest recruit to Fireclan. Please welcome.. Uh.. Who were you again?" Cheetahstar announced, and then ended with a question directed to me.
"Ripley," I replied. "The name is Ripley."
I heard the whispers of my new clansmates about what my new name would be. I didn't understand what they meant by it, but I know I'm about to find out.
"So, Ripplepaw, are you ready to begin your training to be a Fireclan warrior?" Cheetahstar boomed.
"Y-yes, I am." I gulped. The crowd cheered, and I saw Summitpaw cheering as well. She was the loudest out of all of them.
