The next class was math class, with a teacher named Mr. Dash. He was a nice yet strict teacher who doesnt put up with tolerance.
Well just before the teacher entered, we were standing outside waiting of the teacher. The other girls were mingling with all boys class across the hall and i mingle with a few girls from another girls from other class: Ashley, Courtney and Valerie.
Note: we're all still good friends until this day. They are a true friend.
We were still chatting that time until someone(I dont know her name because i was not paying any attention during the introduction section) rushed hurriedly to us and told us teacher is coming... then all of us went back to our own classes sitting innocently.
Once the teacher stepped inside the class, we stood up and greeted him gently(apparently his a man). He greeted us back. From his appearance, i could tell that his a good looking man but yet, he hates people being indiscipline.
Then we were assigned in seating groups. Wait what... we do form groups in maths?? I thought we only form groups in other lessons except maths.
I was then assigned to sit with a few girls named Jean, Stephanie and Marianne. They looked so friendly and willing to help. We then work together and discussed the questions. The school day went by fast and before I notice that it was time to go home. I was enjoying every lessons in school.
I got home, set the alarm for tomorrow and notified my mom that i got home safe and sound. She is always worried of my safety since everyday i am fetched my my driver. Well if you wonder why i never talked about my father, my father died 4 years ago. I was in grave that time.. I sobbed and my mom told me dont be sad anymore...let your father rest in peace.. Well how would you expect a 7 years old girl to acknowledge and let go the sadness of her father death. Imagine living without a father for your whole life. Well everything has passed.. it is all becoming a memoriable event...
My mom then asked me random basic questions: how was your first day? Any problems? Any new people?Etc.
I told her about my new friends, classmates and teachers.
She asked me: "do you think your gonna be okay and not facing any critical problems??"
I responded that im gonna be just fine and no i dont think im gonna face any problems this school year..
But Dear God, I was so wrong. I had no idea what i was going to go through seventh grade year..
