Blaine Anderson is the very definition of an introvert... and a nerd.

He was the kid with the glasses that always fell to the tip of his nose and who passed every test in all his classes. The kid who sat in the back of the classroom reading a 700 page Harry Potter book when it was free time.

Now being an introvert, he didn't really talk to anyone, unless needed, and when he did; Blaine was polite and sweet.

You would think since he didn't bother anyone, no one would bother him.

Wrong.

The idiots at McKinley love to pick on people... especially Blaine.

It didn't help that he was a nerd and gay. Of course ,with his luck, that didn't surprise him.

It was depressing today since it was Thursday, also known as, throw the gay nerd in the dumpster day. It's been happening ever since he came to this school two months ago.

Which is how Blaine found himself getting picked up from behind on his way to his car by a pair of rough, muscular arms. He tried to get out of the grasp but the person had a strong grip.

"You know the drill, Homo Nerd. Why do you insist on fighting it?" Karofsky's voice rang in his ear, making him jump a bit at his harsh, menacing tone.

Blaine wiggled in his arms helplessly as Karofsky led him outside to the dumpster where the football team was surrounded them, cracking their knuckles or laughing at how dumb Blaine looked.

Azimio snatched Blaine's bag from him and tossed it to the side, making papers and pencils fly all over the place. Blaine winced as one of the guys pushed him against the dumpster making his glasses fall off, since he couldn't see anything he just closed his eyes and waited for them to punch him and toss him with the rest of the garbage.

Two guys picked him up, one had his shoulders and the other had his legs, not very gently if you asked him. He heard them counting down and swinging about ready to throw him when he heard a voice, "Let him go."

He heard whispers and murmurs from the group and felt being dropped onto the ground, after letting out a small 'oof' he blindly moved his hand to find his glasses. When he finally found them and slipped them on, he gasped at who he saw.

Kurt Hummel, with pink streaks in his hair and nose piercing. A cigarette was sticking out of the side of his mouth, his eyes were narrowed and arms were crossed giving a glare to the group, "Hummel." Karofsky greeted slowly, the rest of the team mumbled greetings.

"David." Kurt greeted back, his voice cold but smooth as he put out his cigarette and stepped on it, Blaine noticed the way Karofsky flinched when Kurt used his full name and smiled a bit.

"Thought you were in juvy?" The bully asked, "We weren't expecting to see you back until next year."

"Got out early for good behavior." He shrugged as he stepped closer, "I thought you weren't going to throw innocent kids in the dumpster anymore?" He said bluntly, pointing to Blaine who was now leaning against the dumpster, to afraid to get up.

"We- um. We were just.. what do you care?" He finally spat out, "You beat up a guy the other day."

"He was stealing, he was doing something bad. Was he doing anything bad?" Kurt asked as he shifted so his hip was slightly out, arms still crossed over his chest.

"He was spreading his gayness around." Azimio called out and glared at Blaine.

Kurt ignored him and stared at Karofsky, "Was he now?" He said quietly, moving so he was inches away from the boy, "Sounds like someone I know."

Karofsky visibly tended as Kurt spoke, they had a silent staring contest for a good 20 seconds before Karofsky backed out and turned to the group, "Let's go. Homo Nerd isn't worth it anyway." He told them as he shot Blaine a look and walked away, the rest of the team followed confused behind him.

Kurt watched them walk away with a smirk on his lips then remembered Blaine was there, "You need to learn to stick up for yourself." He told him as he went and picked up all of Blaine's books and things that fell.

"I tr-try." He said quietly, moving to help Kurt, "He's stronger th-than m-me."

"Well you're not trying hard enough." Kurt said rather harshly as he put the last of the things in the bag.

Blaine flinched at his tone and shouldered his bag, "W-why do you c-c-care? Y-you stood u-up to K-K.. ugh! Karofsky. No o-ones ever d-done that be-before."

"Let's just say I've had some experience with some guys like that jerk." Kurt said and before Blaine could question he launched into another question, "Why do you stutter?"

Blaine raised an eyebrow at is straightforwardness, "I g-got b-bullied at my o-old sc-school really b-bad." He said simply but gently, not making eye contact and Kurt knew not to pry anymore.

"I see. Well you actually sound pretty cute with a stutter." He told him, Blaine blushed when the other boy winked at him, "Anyway, I think you were trying to get home and I have to go take back a couch from a bunch of shanks. So, I'll see you tomorrow, hopefully on better circumstances."

Blaine chuckled and nodded, "T-thanks. You're n-nicer t-than you s-seem."

"Shh, don't tell anyone that. People are supposed to fear me." He said, putting a finger up to his lips with a small laugh, "Bye... Blaine, right?"

Said boy nodded, "B-bye K-k-Kurt." He said with a wave to him and went toward his car.

Blaine smiled as he thought, not all bad boys are bad.

Well that was interesting.
