Can I be loved (re-writing)

Chapter Four

Okay so a few people like the sibling idea, because it's so common for mates... and I do like the idea, as well as mates....ill figure it out when we get there.

Chapter Four

Do you know that feeling of being watched, you know the skin crawling feeling. I lifted my head and scoped the area with my eyes, my ears flicked to every note of the vast forest.

I stood up fast, when I heard the sounds of leaves crunching, branches breaking under heavy feet; and when I say feet, I mean many four legged friends. I don't think they are our friends though, there about 100 yards away.

I jumped over the fence and roared in warning as I galloped over to the sleeping members that camped around the fires, Alpha Dallas jumped up and focused on my running body. He jumped into action, running towards me, but I shifted to my human form, and used my hands to ask for my notebook.

He shouted an order, then placed it into my hands. I wrote: danger, many four legged friends are approaching, fast and many !!

He froze, telling the pack to silence themselves, he reopened his eyes, they held the look of remorse, "warriors shift now, we have enemies approaching....pack members who can't fight get into the cars now and leave immediately to the new house .... boys we run beside the cars and protect our members" they all nodded and ran to their duties "someone get those horses in the trailers...boy you run ahead and call for back up....Bella I need you to shift as well, max will fit your saddle on" I nodded and shifted near my saddle, wait patiently. Max ran to me, as I laid down so he could place my saddle on my back, I then stood up so he could do the belts.

Before he shifted, he looked into my large eyes and said quietly "lets not let anyone die today huh...just don't die okay", he stared for awhile; then walked away from me, towards the front of the many cars. I ran to the alpha, nickering, he also stared into my eyes with an tense look "Bella...I'm going to need your strength..<he hesitates>... I need your overpowering aura...they will be hesitant with your unusually large size. I need you to be my legs once I tire in my wolf form..my age is a curse, but a gift to my experience" his fists clench, as he looks over his shoulder to look at his large family "I will need you by my side until I can no longer keep up my form" i bite his hair to get his attention; and as he looks back at me, I lift my head up and down, making him grin with pride.

The pack members who are mates and have children, hug each other in worry. I watch from afar beside the Alpha, as his mate bids her prays to us, wishes us our safety, with one last kiss he shifts. His head reached half way up my neck, his fur was pure silver, it glistened dangerously like the sharpened edge of a blade. His eyes shined a blood thirsty red, but somehow held kindness as he looked upon his people, he led a small group of us into battle.

We were to hold them off until the pack met the lands of safety.

However I had a different idea. I was going to kill those who will harm my new herd...or die trying.

No matter what, No one will die....Not today. Not while I still walked the earth.

Okay I know this was a small chapter, but it was an Idea I got at college.

Sorry if I'm slow, I'm writing a vampire in lord of the rings, I haven't uploaded it yet, but my little cousin wanted this story for her birthday, once I've written enough for it I'll carry on writing this....however I will do little bits while I'm doing the other one. so don't worry.
