Rollercoasters- 5SOS (Coming soon!)

Prologue

Sometimes you just feel the need to do something with your life, and I don't mean plan out your future (I have that covered). I mean, while your awaiting the phone call telling you that you made the lead in the musical you auditioned for, doing something in between doing something with your life. That's a mouthful.

So I'm starting with visiting the some of the most iconic amusement parks and riding their scariest rollercoasters, because why the hell not?

Starting with the Six Flags Great Adventure park in my home state (Is that a thing? Home state?), New Jersey.

Before you ask, no I do not have a accent.

So that is why I'm packing my bags for the best road trip to ever exist! Raini and I are going to travel the US and ride the countries scariest roller coasters, because we feel like it. Raini is 19 and just as daring as I am, she broke up with her boyfriend recently which is probably one of the reasons she agreed when I said we should ride a bunch of roller coasters across the US. Did I mention the road trip I had planned out just happened to include the top ten scariest roller coasters? I'll mention it later. It's not that I don't think she'll agree, it's just that she thinks I'm over dramatic (well I'm kinda planning on auditioning for some Broadway musicals when I'm 16, I kinda have to be), and make a big deal out of everything.

We'll be on the road for a little over a month (unless one of the coasters breaks on us and we die or get severely injured). So we had just went shopping for some new clothes, that were more suitable for roller coaster riding (or we just like shopping, no one will ever know)

Me and Raini are practically exactly alike, personality wise (minus that she's a lot more professional and can keep her head in stressful situations, whereas I get panic attacks and stupid stuff like that). Look wise is another story.

Where as I have long brown hair that reaches a little after my waist that I dyed different colors for this trip (but only at the ends), she has a pixie cut and light brown highlights (or really dirty blonde, I'm not a hair expert). Fashion wise Raini is more edgy with muscle tanks and band t shirts (she actually listens to the bands she wears though!), where as I'm more... Well I still look like my parents pick out some of my clothes. I'm just a little plain, but I have some ripped jeans if it makes me sound cool? We both have big brown eyes and the same skin tone.

I finish zipping up my plain brown suitcase, sitting on the top to force it closed. I put my favorite stuffed animal, Saira, in my purse, and swing it over my shoulder before grabbing my suitcase and keyboard piano (In its travel case of course) and blowing my bedroom a kiss goodbye.

My parents are waiting at the bottom of the stairs, unlike me and my sister they aren't the roller coaster type.

"We're going to miss you guys so much!" Mom yells when she see's us, suitcases and all. Unlike most teenagers my age, I loved my mom and dad to pieces.

"I'm going to miss you guys so much too!" I say running into their arms along with my sister.

"Oh Melanie, look at you! Ready to take on the world and Raini! Getting over Caden so quickly!" Dad said and we blushed at the same time, we're very in sync. "You've grown up so well!" I guess Raini has but I'm still fifteen! I'm still young! I think.

We sat down for breakfast one last time before our trip, Mom made breakfast tacos (As she is Hispanic, she used to live in Texas) for all of us and soon enough, we were on our way.

We put our suitcases in the back of Raini's new KIA Soul before closing it and getting in the front. After waving to Mom and Dad I plugged in my iPhone 5s in gold (I saved up since I was 13, I'm very proud of it) to play music. As soon as Defying Gravity from the Wicked soundtrack came on Raini gave me a look, I rolled my eyes at her non-diverse music taste I switched it to something both of us liked.

Hey! So I think I'm going to start updating this story in the summer of 2015, although it takes place July 2014. I have already started writing chapters but I want to get to at least near the end of the story before I start uploading it. I feel like if I just started going as I write that my updates will get less and less frequent as school and stress comes along and I don't think it's fair to leave you guys at a cliffhanger and possibly never update for months. So here's the first part and hopefully I'll see you all this summer, or even sooner!
