*Epilogue*
3 years later
"Don't leave my side."
I gripped Harry's hand tighter.
He laughed. "What are you so worried about?"
"There I people here I don't even know. And Sandy."
Yes. There were people I don't know at MY baby shower. But they were Harry's family so I have to be brave.
We decided to have it at a park with a huge gazebo and tables so we have plenty of room.
There were a lot of people here already, including Gemma and Anne, who arranged the whole thing.
I grinned widely before running over ("Pru stop running! I don't want you to fall!") and attacked Gemma in a hug. It's been eight years. I missed Harry's family, a lot. Anne was The closest thing I had to a mother.
We kicked off conversation instantly, with the occasional "Oh my God, you're huge!" and "I hope Harry's treating you right."
In the middle of Gemma talking about college, someone ran up behind me and scooped me up off the ground, spinning me in circles.
"Louis Tomlinson, you put her down right now before you drop her!" Anne yelled at Louis.
I laughed at Harry's fuming face. "I'm fine!" I reassured him.
I turned to Louis and squeezed him tightly. "I missed you so much!" All the other boys had shown up too.
And they had dates.
Louis had come with his fiancée Roxanne Leary. She had a son already that Louis was planning on adopting. I learned his name was Caymin. And Roxy also brought her sister Robin, who had identical ginger hair.
Niall brought his director girlfriend, Ronnie Test. She had beautiful long brown hair and piercing blue eyes. The way Niall looked at her made me want to giggle.
Liam had his wife, Georgia Halpen. I heard about them fighting with each other a lot, but they looked happy, holding hands and smiling at each other.
Lastly, Zayn had an intimidating girl with him. She was covered in tattoos and her hair was cherry red. Her name was Jay Martinez. They obviously hadn't been dating awhile, by the way they're standing awkwardly next to each other. But Zayn doesn't bring just any girl places if she didn't mean something to him. She was special.
We all looked very happy.
After the introductions, we got to talking. They boys were off playing football with some of the young kids.
Behind Georgia's brown, curly hair, I saw a familiar face
"Will you excuse me?"
I made my way over to Sandy, who was awkwardly standing by a tree with a small present in hand.
"Hi."
Sandy turned to me and smiled.
"I didn't think you would come, honestly."
She shrugged. "It took me a lot of persuading, honestly."
I bit my lip. "Look, I'm really sorry I was so harsh to you. It's not your fault my dad died."
Sandy cringed. "It's still a sore subject to talk about." She was on the verge of tears. "Your father loved you Pru. So much. If he was here today, he would be so proud. I'm sorry I was never a mother figure."
I began crying too. I pulled her Into a hug and cried into her shoulder.
"You remember that day at the hospital, Pru? What did your dad tell Harry?"
I thought back.
*FLASHBACK*
Harry and I started walking to the door but before we left, my dad said, "Oh and Harry." Harry turned back around. "You better marry my daughter someday. If not, I'm coming back and haunting your ass."
*END FLASHBACK*
I laughed loudly. "He was such a twit." I joked.
Sandy laughed along with me. "Well, now Harry won't live in vain."
"True."
A playlist of Gemma's was playing overhead as I watched my friends play football with some little kids.
As the song switched over, Harry came and sat next to me to get a drink of water.
"How are you doing?" he asked, putting a hand on my stomach.
I smiled and leaned into him. "I'm perfect. Why can't every day be like this?"
"Because life hates us?"
I laughed. "True."
Through the speakers Forever and Always by Parachute started playing. Harry's eyes got wide. "THIS. SONG."
My mouth dropped open. "WHAT. ABOUT. IT?"
Instead of answering, Harry pulled me up off they ground and spun me in a circle. Then he pulled me in close to him and said, "Dance with me."
I shrugged my shoulders and wrapped my arms around him, swaying to the beat.
"I love you, Pru."
"I love you, Harry."
And in that moment we were infinite.
And they lived Happily Ever After.
