My Birthday

Your POV
I woke up energetic and happy, today was my birthday. I hope Norman will be here I told him yesterday that my birthday was today and he said he would come and see me.
I got dressed, looking very fancy, today was my day and I was going to make the most if it.
* time skip*
I had just been shopping with my best friend and it was a nightmare because she couldn't decide what to buy but at least Norman will be here for me, he's meant to be here in 10 minutes.

Norman's POV
Oh god, I'm meant to be at y/n's apartment in 10 minutes and I'm still in the shop buying things. It's not my fault I can't decide between pink and purple!
You know what, I'm getting her both!
I hope she's not too angry that I'll be late.

Your POV
I have been waiting for Norman for 20 minutes and he still isn't here, I grab my phone and text him asking where he is but I get no reply, he hasn't forgotten right?
Minute after minute goes by..
10 minutes...
20 more minutes...
I sigh and give up waiting and just as I'm about to head to bed i here a knock at the door, I run to open it and see Norman standing there with too many presents.
I gasped
" happy birthday darling" he said smiling at me
I look at all the presents and take them inside, once all of them are inside I throw my arms around him and hug him tightly.
I look up and give him a quick kiss
" I love you and thank you for all the gifts, you've made this the best birthday I have ever had"
He smiled saying " I'm so glad and I love you too"
