The gift

Hi! So I don't actually know what the Illuminati does and I'm too lazy to look it up.....so yeah let's pretend they're like any other gang but have the ability to make their own money!

Skylar was on her bed, she woke up only moments ago. It was now 11:40 pm. "10 minutes..." Skylar thought to herself as she sat patiently for her 'gift' to arrive.

"5 minutes..." She thought.

12:00 am. Nothing. Not a knock on the door, not a midnight mailman. Nothing.

A few lights flickered on and off, in quite an eerie way. Skylar just shrugged it off and went to sleep.

Finally, the sun shone through her window, and Skylar opened her eyes. She looked up to see green eyes looking back at her. Not just regular green eyes, but like dollar bill green. Skylar stared at the eyes for a moment, then punched the person in the face.

"*Groan* Why'd you do that?!" A female's voice said. "The hell?!" Skylar sat up and saw a girl. She had an illuminati triangle on her shirt, a dark grey jacket, and black skinny jeans on. She had blonde hair with a strip of green in it. She looked to be about 14. Skylar stared at the girl.

"Who're you?! And what the bloody hell are you doing in my bedroom?!" Skylar whisper/yelled, not wanting to wake her parents up. "Wow. That was a nice apology!" The girl said, sitting up and adjusting herself. Skylar shushed the girl and she just smiled. "You parents aren't home. They won't hear me." She said and Skylar sighed, then yelled. "WHO THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE?!?!?"

The girl rolled her eyes. "My name is Zariyah and I'm here to escort you to the 'gang'." She put air quotes around the word gang.

"Oh and you can just call me Zee." Zariyah said. Skylar sighed. "The hell is going on?" She asked Zee. "Oh, well your older sister invited you to join the illuminati gang. I'm here to take ya to our hide." Zee explained as she gathered clothes that had been all over the floor.

"Invited to join one of the most dangerous gangs in the- wait did you say my sister?!" Skylar asked. Zoe wouldn't hurt a fly. Or join a gang like the illuminati. So wtf is going on?! "Yes. Colonel Zoe. She requested for me to escort you to the hide. Now could you get up and help me? These are your clothes after all." Zee said. Skylar got out of bed and helped her put clothes into her bag. Skylar looked at her now clean room. "Here." Zee handed Skylar a beautifully carved wooden knife, with the triangle carved into the bottom "That's your birthday gift from Zoe- I mean Colonel."

Skylar looked at the knife in awe. It was beautiful and fit perfectly in her boot. Skylar slid it into the case and placed it into her boot once she got dressed. "Okay! Let's go!" Zee said, ready to march proudly. Skylar and Zee walked out to see a limo waiting for them. "I forgot to ask," Zee began "How old did you turn?" She said, curiousity in her voice. "16. How old are you?" Skylar asked. "Oh, I'm 14 and a half."

The ride there was silent. Skylar looked at the limo as if she'd never been in one before, because she hadn't. It was beautiful.

They finally pulled up. Skylar looked out the window and saw Zoe waiting outside.
