Caleb's POV
I sat ontop of the climbing rock staring over the horizon of the kids screaming and running around. It was a zoo almost. The wind blew my hair, and giving me a cold chill through my body.
"Hey Caleb! Caleb! Caleb! Caleeeb!!!!" A friend of mine, Danielle yelled as she jumped up and down to get my attention.
"what" I said leaning over the rock to look at the dirty blonde female.
"Im Bored!" She said running around in circles.
"Ugh, How old are you Danielle?" I said leaning back onto the rock.
"12! 13 in April!" She said plopping onto the ground.
"more like 5" I groaned.
"Very funny Caleb"
"Whatever." I said ignoring her and looking back at the zoo of kids.
"You lookin for someone?"
"No. Go away."
Just then, I spotted my arch enemy. Jacob. I squinted my eyes to see who he was with.
"Wait kevin?!" I said not knowing I said it out loud.
"What about Kevin Caleb?" Danielle asked.
"Uhm- Nothing." I said.
I took a deep breath in and out. I hate Jacob. Every single thing about him. I can't believe Kevin can handle him. Jacob steals Kevin away from me. I think thats why Kevin hasn't been around me in such a long time. I jumped off the rock making Danielle get startled. I smirk and walk over to where I spotted Jacob.
"Hey Caleb." Kevin said as I approached.
"ugh. What do you want Caleb? We are doing something." Jacob groaned.
"No one likes you Jacob." I said rolling my eyes.
"Stop picking fights Caleb."
"Stop going to this school."
"Get a life Caleb."
"I have one actually unlike you."
"Are you trying to roast me? Your doing a bad job ya know" Jacob smirked.
"Oh my god stop it already!" Kevin said with his adorable voice- cracking voice. "How about we do something INSTEAD of arguing?!"
"Fine"
"Okay, What do you wanna do Kev?" Jacob smiled at Kevin.
"I dunno." Kevin said smiling back at the idiot.
"We could play Tree Tag. Theres three of us so..." I suggested.
"Ugh No-" Jacob said getting cut off by Kevin.
"sure! Sounds fun!" Kevin cheerfully said.
"uhh Yeah! - Lets play!" Jacob lied
I narrowed my eyes at Jacob.
"Jacob's it!!!" I yelled finding the closest tree.
I let out a sigh of relief. Kevin ran to one of the trees nearby mine. He looked so cute when he smiled. It brought me to joy being able to see Kevin at school.
Jacob isn't fast once o ever so the whole recess we spent running to tree to tree without getting touched until the bell rang.
