Caleb's POV
After school ended I headed to detention where I'll spending the next whole week. I've been through detention multiple times so I know the drill. I took a seat at the back of the classroom and laid my head down. I still didn't regret anything.
"You here too?" Destiny said taking a seat.
"Wha- Destiny why are you here?" I asked.
"Meh. Punched Gavin in PE. Wasn't the first time but the teacher caught me this time." she said.
"Jeez."
"Hey you punched Jacob so..."
"true true. I hate him"
"You do. I know. You say that like 24/7.." She said leaning back into her chair.
"Whatever" I groan waiting for this to get over.
After about a half an hour, we were released. I stood up and ran out of the classroom.
"I can't promise I won't do it again!" Destiny smirked as she ran out of the classroom.
When I got outside I saw a lot of kids still. Few were playing football while a couple people were talking.
I start to walk in the direction where I live but then I walk past the couple who were talking. At first I was confused because I had no clue who they were. Until I squinted to see an adorable familiar face annnnnnd an ugly one. I hid behind a tree before they noticed me. Luckily I was able to hear everything they were saying. I peeked my head out to look at them
Kevin's POV
"Kevin you should stop hanging out with Caleb again. If you keep hanging out with him he is going to get clingy. Ya know?" Jacob said to me as wrapped his arm over my shoulder.
I felt extremely uncomfortable.
"I... uhm..."
"He punched me today! There was no reason! What if he punches you?" Jacob said leaning in to me closer.
"i... Know... That doesn't sound like him to do it for.. no reason.." I mumbled
"He did! Hes insane you know!"
"I'm not sure..."
"Don't worry. I'm here to protect you from him ya know?"
"Uh.... Okay???" I said extremely confused.
Jacob's always been very.... close to me. I always knew he was gay, It's just awkward....
"You're cute when you're confused" Jacob said as he booped me on the nose.
I awkwardly sat there, wanting to leave. Jacob pulled me closer to him.
"Uhm... What are you... doing?"
"Nothing" He said running his fingers through my messy hair.
"I....uh gotta go home..." I mumbled
"Aww~" Jacob whined "Can I see you tomorrow hottie~"
"Suree!" I lied as I ran as fast as my body could go to my house.
Caleb's POV
After Kevin walked home, I started to walk to my house too. I thought about it while I was listening to them. Does Kevin like Jacob back? Jacob definitely likes him. I let out a sigh. Theres nothing I can do about it. I was too late.
