CHP 6 GOOD ENOUGH?

DAKOTA'S P.O.V

        I was talking to my friend Jesse on the phone after I dropped Lilah off at the Campbell's.
"So what's been going on ya casanova?" he yelled through the phone. I haven't talked to him in a
long time since he went to New York to visit some family.

        "Not much you know, just everything is the same. The usual" I responded. Lies. But what am I
going to say? I have had a complicated relationship with that girl I told you about, you know, with
the chocolate curls, big eyes and perfect lips. Well I also recently did make out with her despite the
fact that we are.....friends?

        "Come on Goyo! we've been friends since second grade. I know theres something going on with that girl...Lily??" he said. yep...and it's LILAH.

        "It's Lilah, and ok fine there is. I guess were friends...with benefits? Let's just say that yes she likes me and I love the way she looks at me and wants me but sometimes I wish she looked at me like she looked at this guy who is best friends with her or something, his name is Blaine Evers, with
wonder and curiosity" I said.    

        "So I guess the lady doesn't really like bad boys?" He said,

        "No, you haven't seen him. He screamed bad boy with his tattoos and leather jacket" it was true, I could only imagine him taking her away from me on his motorcycle driving into distance..

        "We'll maybe you should actually figure the guy out maybe the person someone actually likes isn't because of what they look like but because of how they really know them" he said. And I thought about it..but still the guy looked to be one of those guys girls write fan fiction about, he looked maybe 18?

        "How about we do this, I cyber stalk him and figure who this guy is at least...and yes it's acceptable, I mean Zac Efron did it in That Awkward Moment..until then you take that girl out on a date but do something....unpredictable"

"Ok thanks man...but I have to go" I Said

"No prob man..bye brah"

Then I thought about it, unpredictable......and then one thing came to mind...and after coming up
with a plan, another thing came to mind....why was Jesse watching a chick flick?

LILAHS P.O.V

Dakota was going to pick me up in a few so I did the finishing touches and looked in the mirror, I
mean I guess this was decent? I had gone to some art galleries but I don't know, never really did
blend in at those, mostly because they were those really fancy ones.
I really like Dakota, although he has been acting weirdly for some reason lately...
I straightened my dress as I heard a honk.

"Hi" I greeted him, entering the car.

"Hey" he said "you look nice"

"smanks" I said as I observed his outfit. He was wearing a white v-neck with the sleeves rolled up
and white shorts....casual much?

"So I know this is random but wanna play never have I ever??" He asked, I chuckled because his
eyes lit up like a six year olds on Christmas.

"Yeah" I said "sure, I'll start. Hmmmm, never have I ever.....watched a chick flick and cried?"
He sighed and closed his eyes for a second "hey, Endless Love is a beautiful movie, both old version and new version, although I like Alex Pettyfer better..."

I tried to hold in the laughter.."Someone's got a manly crush........." I said poking him.

"Shut up....ok my turn. Never have I ever......had an awkward kiss??" He asked...oh god...
