I woke up when I felt a heavy weight pressing down on me. I looked down, and noticed it was Tyler, his hand wrapped tightly around my waist and his face buried in my hair. I pulled his hand off me and moved away, only to have him pull me back tightly against his chest. I raised an eyebrow. Even asleep, he was so possessive.

Ten minutes later, Tyler woke up and hopped into the shower without so much as a backward glance. I got up, stretched and padded into the kitchen. Tying my hair into a messy bun, I contemplated what to make for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, I decided.

Once I finished frying them, I placed them on the table with a mug of coffee for Tyler, and an orange juice for myself. Glancing at the time, I saw that it was noon. My blue eyes were trained on the door; waiting for it to swing open, signalling his arrival.

He stormed in, clad in jeans and a tee. I self-conciously fiddled with my blonde hair, taming it. I didn't want to be victim to his catty remarks. He silently sat opposite me, taking a sip of his coffee.

"This is cold." He glared at me.

That's because it was ready ten minutes ago when you were in the shower too busy scrubbing your arse, I thought to myself sourly. He scooped up a forkful of his eggs and stuffed it into his mouth. I waited anxiously, knowing that the eggs were slightly burnt.

He shoved the eggs off the table with the side of his arm angrily, his blue eyes wild.

"What is this shit you're feeding me?" He bellowed, "Burnt fucking eggs, cold ass coffe-"

I cut off his ranting with the only thing I knew could calm him down.

I kissed him.

He kissed me back, just as I knew he would. The kiss was hard and fast; his hands running up and down my back furiously.

"I'm sorry for shouting, Delilah." He whispered. I knew he would apologise. After all these months with Tyler I can almost predict his next move.

I nodded, and his hands played with my hair gently.

"What do you want to do today? It's my day off," He mumbled, his teeth grazing my neck. I pulled away.

"Actually, I need to buy some new summer shoes.. and maybe some clothes. Is that okay?" I asked.

"That's fine." In a flash, he was sat on the sofa, with the TV on his favourite sports channel.

"I'll be waiting." His eyes were glued to the TV. I glanced at the mess on the floor- the result to his rage. I quickly picked up the plates and wiped down the surface of the table, as well as the floor.

I walked towards the bedroom. Rummaging through the closet, I decided on a blue maxi skirt with a small slit on the side and a black vest shirt. I tucked the shirt into the skirt and finished it off with a thin black belt. Sliding my charm bracelet on, I brushed my hair and left it loose over my shoulders. Glancing in the mirror, I was satisfied. A slick coat of lipgloss completed the look.

Retreating back into the living room, Tyler looked impatient. He scanned my outfit quickly and I prepared myself. 3, 2, 1..

"That skirt is fucking hideous." He snarled. To this day, his mood swings still baffled me. I stayed quiet and stepped into some flip flops. He grabbed my hand and we set off towards the city centre.

As we drew nearer I tried to ignore the wolfwhistle Tyler called to a curvy brunette that passed us. She giggled and winked at him as she passed us, and I mentally rolled my eyes.

We stopped outside Forever 21.

"I'll quickly get the stuff, and you wait outside here, okay?" I murmured.
