"He's notcoming back."
Stefan opened up the door, his face was priceless as Nik and I stood there, smirking.
"Leaving so soon?" I teased, tilting my head up at Stefan.
Rebekah popped up out for nowhere which made me frown at her. I am still quite pissed that Rebekah, the girl who is suppose to be my best friend, didn't tell me that she was up and about.
"I don't appreciate you both invading my privacy like some kind of creeping Tom and Jerry." Rebekah glared at us as she threw on a robe over her half naked body.
Nik wrapped his arm around me, "Well, I apologize for breaking up this sordid little tryst, but we do have some urgent business. Or have you forgotten that our paranoid brother Kol is running around with a white oak stake and homicide on the brain?"
Rebekah pursed her lips, "He tried to kill me last night. I didn't forget."
Nik nodded, rubbing his thumb on my hip. "Yes. Well, unfortunately, he seems to have absconded with my set of daggers."
Rebekah rolled her eyes, "Oh, poor Nik. However will you get your way without your precious daggers? They were so handy when you wanted to end a conversation with one of us."
Nik glared at his sister as he held me closer to him, "Kol's irrational fear of Silas has pushed him off the edge. We need to put him down before he does any more damage. Now, I know you have the last dagger, and I know you have some white ash, so hand it over." He held out a hand with an impatient expression.
Rebekah hummed, "Hmm. And leave myself unprotected? You can file that request under "no chance in hell"." She then looked down at me, "I thought Kol was your friend, I can't believe that you want to dagger him."
"Only for a second," I told her, "It gets Damon out of the compulsion, and it will hopefully calm Koala bear down. I don't want to hurt him, but he needs to be stopped before he hurts someone."
Rebekah huffed and crossed her arms, "Be gone by the time I've showered. Lurkers aren't welcome here." She walked off into the bathroom.
Nik turned to Stefan, "We need that dagger, Stefan. Talk some sense into her."
Stefan looked over at us, his eyes gazing down at me, "Why don't you talk some sense into her? I'm headed home to play prison guard to Damon. He's on lockdown ever since Kol compelled him to kill Jeremy last night."
"You see?" I thrusted out a hand, "That's our point exactly. If you let Kol run free, then Jeremy won't live to see his junior prom, and we can kiss our map to the cure good-bye. But if you help us dagger Kol for a second, Damon will be uncompelled, Jeremy will live, and we'll all be on our merry way to a human Elena." I placed my hand on my hip, "that is what you want, yeah?"
