True Love But False Hate

Chapter 4 Simon's Idea

It was over a year since I entered the X-Factor and succeeded. I contacted my family almost daily but I never talked to Niall and no one  mentioned him either for my sake. Lately people just about every where though had been mentioning this new band called One Direction and Jade had a boyfriend who was one of the members I'd never met the guy but his name was Zayn Malik. Jade would talk all day about him like how he was really sweet and funny and  blah blah blah blah. Even though I lacked any possible attention to what she said about him he sounded like a really nice guy. I felt my phone vibrating in my hoodie pocket. I pressed the home button and there shining on the screen was Simon's name so I answered it.

"Hello , Simon?"

"Alex I have a job for you a very important one in fact I want you to be the stylist, media assistant,instrumentalist if needed or if you don't have a tour, and plan announcer so technically i'm paying you to be their assistant."

Simon was a nice guy and all but sometimes couldn't help but ask my self if he had lost his noggin.

"Simon I have my own career." I said not bothering to hide my annoyance.

"I know i have it all arranged I emailed all the information to you plus it would be nice if they had someone their age to talk to."

"Alright fine when do I start?" I said

"Tomorrow." He responded clearly over joyed

we said our good byes then I hung up. I walked over to my computer to check my email and sure enough there it was on the screen so i read it.

Hey Alex so I want you to be the assistant for One Direction i'm sure you've heard of them you'll be starting tomorrow morning at 11:00 am at the Syco Music I bet you guys are gonna get along fine bye oh by the way I assigned you to one person in particular but i'll introduce you to him tomorrow

the note was surprisingly shorter than I thought it would be. Who knows what these boys would be like especially the guy I would be assigned to. I walked to the bathroom took a quick shower, changed into my Nirvana PJ's I had gotten for my 14th birthday. When I layed down I felt something cold and hard in one of the pockets. I reached for the object and saw it was a silver four leaf clover necklace that had tiny green Peridot gems that encircled it and in the middle of the circle was a red on black Opal with the letter N  engraved in lime green. I was also given this on my 14th birthday

Niall and I were in my old bedroom

"close your eyes Alex." he said

I did as he said  then a second later I could feel hard metal on my throat. When I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror what I saw literally made my eyes pop right out of their sockets there was a beautiful four leafed clover necklace encircled by green gems then in the middle was and opal that had the letter N on it. I sat on my bed trying to take everything in and Niall followed me. When I was finally able to talk I said," why?." I guess Niall was waiting for me to say it and got straight to explaining

" I got you this to remind you of our friendship plus you see those green gems they symbolize power and the opal well it's your birth stone so I just thought it would give you more luck if it was added to the four leaf clover."

     Niall didn't seem to understand why I was confused about why he gave this necklace to me you see this necklace wasn't just any necklace it was the necklace from Nialls ancestors passed down to the females who were believed to have special abilities from generation to generation. Niall knew what I thought I didn't have any abilities nor was I part of his family I was just a normal red headed  girl that just happened to have royal ancestors.

"Alex your family and my family know who you are we know what can and can't do just believe in everything we've told you after all it's not so hard to and I know once you are all powerful even powerful than me you won't hurt the people you love."  Niall got of the bed and headed to the door but before he slipped out the room he turned.

"Alex i'm telling you these stuff because I love and if you just happen to hurt me I know I will never ever in my life hurt you." and with those words Niall went down stairs to the party.

It took me a minute to realize tears were streaming down my face and just rethinking those words he said to me made cry even harder. How wrong he was to think he would never hurt me in his life. Eventually though the crying put me to sleep leaving a salty taste in my mouth.
