Chapter 8 Music Video

NIALL'S P.O.V

What was I thinking asking her that question the one time we were actually on good terms I had to ruin it. I followed her and toke a hold of her hand. "Alex?" I didn't know how to ask her I mean I couldn't just say, Hey Alex do you think I'm a good kisser? So I just asked her in the most normal way possible. "Alex?" "Why did you keep on kissing me the other day?" I could tell she was taken back but quickly hid it. She didn't want to answer it so she pulled away from me. When she walked down the stairs to the others I promised that one day I wills find the answer. Eventually I went down the stairs as well. At that moment the guys were getting ready to leave while they were getting ready I searched the room for Alex and caught her in the corner with Harry. Practically fuming I walked over to them. " Harry can I talk to you?" I asked.

I lead him to the kitchen then I let some of what I was feeling out. "Harry let her go she's mine." "What makes you think she's yours she can't even stand you." He replied obviously getting angry. He was right she can't stand me, I don't even know what got over me or what my feelings are. I sighed " Your right she can't stand me but if you do have an interest in her can you do me a favor and not hurt her?" I pleaded remembering the first time she got hurt.

**** Flashback****

I was having a very nice dream about having all the food in the world mine. Suddenly I heard a rather loud knock at the front door of my families house. I got up feeling irritated that the person woke me up. I made my way downstairs and opened the door and there was Alex red in the face "literally." The moment I saw her I quickly opened the door wider for her to enter. When Alex is like that she usually aims for something or someone to punch, it's the way she is. She headed for the couch in the living room and I sat down next to her. "You wanna talk?"

I asked attempting to begin the conversation. " it's nothing !" She replied firmly. So giving her some space I was about to go into the kitchen and make myself busy with food. Just when I was about to leave Alex began " Okay Dylan cheated on me!" I turned around and said " I'm guessing this is the " Nothing" we're talking about?" Right at that moment Alex walked up to me and punched me right in the gut. As I looked up I saw her leaving "And that's why we're friends." I said barely having any wind in me. Now I was angry not at Alex or myself but at Dylan. Dylan O'Brien foreign exchange student from America and everyone loves him. He's a cocky guy with nice looks I'll admit. I warned him if he hurt Alex he'd be answering to me and I keep my promises always.

Alex POV

Niall had some serious nerves just coming over and taking Harry from me while I was clearly talking to him. When they were finished talking I grabbed Niall by the collier and walked him to the bathroom upstairs. "What did you tell him." I growled "Nothing absolutely nothing." He said shakily and rushed back downstairs. Did I scare him that much it could almost be comedy.

That's when Jade joined me up stairs "Alex I gotta leave so I'll pick you up tomorrow." "Bye." I responded. Pretty soon everyone left and I was alone. I went to my room and fell asleep.

*****The Next Day*****

HONK! HONK!

The sound knocked me off my bed where my head met the floor with a painful greeting.

I had to bite my tongue to stop a stream of profanities from coming out of my mouth. I got up and went downstairs not even caring that I was still in my pajamas. Once I was downstairs i opened the door and there it was, a black Range Rover looking beutiful as ever [ by the way no matter how weird that sounds i'm sure you would feel the same way if you saw it ] I couldn't see the person in the driver's seat because the windows were darkly tinted. 3 minutes later out came Jade texting away on her phone, when she finally noticed me standing totally exposed to the out side world in my P.J.'s she gave me the widest grin ever. 'I told you you would have to learn how to drive." she said in the most cheeriest way possible. " Now come one first you have to get showered, then wash your hair, next strai-." 'Uhm no your not no one will straighten my hair got it?" I said to her not caring how stupid I sounded. I know my hair is a tangled mess but that's part of me and who I am. " Fine at least shower and get dressed." Jade continued then went upstairs and I followed her. By the time I got upstairs I saw Jade dumb struck. "This is what you like to wear?" She asked holding a pair of camaflouge cloths

"Do you have a problem with it?" "Yes I do I mean for gods sake your a girl you gots to believe in it." She said in a strained voice that made her sound as if she had been smoking. "Well maybe I don't like believing to much of it." And with that I ushered her out the door so I could shower and get dressed. Once I was finished I attempted to comb my hair since I didn't wash it or needed to because of my culture. So I just put my hair into on big ponytail and wore exactly what Jade had asked about earlier but this time I added a SnapBack to it that was completely brown with a white skull on it. When I was finished I brushed my teeth and tiptoed out of my room hoping that Jade wouldn't see me but unfortunately for me she was standing right outside the door. "Don't even try Alex." She said grabbing by the hand. We made our way outside and she pushed me into the car, her being in the passengers seat and me being in the drivers seat. "Okay what do you know about driving." "Nothing." I said, I didn't want to do this but I guess I would have to. So I pulled out of my drive way and did the best I could on my first driving lesson.

*****Niall's P.O.V.*****

We were just finishing up our first single so that we could move on to the music video for it and from what I heard people were going to love it. Already people were loving us I mean we even got invited to a birthday party this weekend, It was supposed to be for some guy from this American group called Mindless Behavior so it would probably be a cool but the thing is we would have to fly all the way to California for it. Simon already arranged for us to go so I couldn't exactly take a rain check. "Niall, hello, earth to Niall James Horan!" said Liam waving is hands in my face " Simon wanted us to meet him at the front office to start the first scene of the video in like 20 minutes." "Oh, okay." I replied I didn't realize I was day dreaming through out the entire recording. While I waited started looking around and noticed Alex wasn't there I mean not that cared if she was there or not it's not as if I like her she's too, well too huffy. I wonder what she was doing today or if she would be on the set. Who knows she's all over the place when it comes to business.
