Tom sat at the airport, waiting for his boyfriend, Matt, to arrive. Matt had traveled overseas to see his family and he was coming back today.
Tom didn't come alone, as he had brought Edd and Tord along with him. They were getting something to eat for themselves and Tom.
Of course, Tom had a huge 'surprise' for Matt that would... probably embarrass him.
But honestly, who cares?
Last night, Tom had stayed up making a poster board with the word, 'NERD' in glittery, block letters. There were other designs on it in marker, but that just made it more 'special'.
Surprisingly, he had managed to keep it from Tord and Edd. It was difficult, but he managed.
Time Skip
Edd and Tord were walking back over to Tom, having already had their fair share of lunch. They had gotten a normal hamburger for Tom, who they expected to be patiently waiting for Matt, as his plane had just landed.
What they did not expect, however, was for Tom to be holding up a huge, bedazzled poster with 'NERD' on it.
Well, I guess that was one way to find Matt.
Tord couldn't help it and burst out laughing just in the range of Tom. Edd just sighed disapprovingly, a small smile still planted on his face.
"What?" Tom questioned, still holding the poster up in the air.
"I swear, you guys have the weirdest relationship," Edd remarked.
Tord stopped laughing as he saw Matt approaching, Edd and Tom noticing as well.
"Hey gu-" Matt was cut off by seeing the poster in Tom's hands.
Edd and Tord stared, smiles on their faces as they tried not to burst out laughing again.
