"Andy! Are you even listening to us?" Rye asked, laughing.
"Uh, yeah."
"What were we taking about?"
"Summer?"

"No. We're talking about the new girl. Look," he said, pointing to her. "She's pretty hot, huh?"
"Eh." I shrugged.

"What do you mean? She's soo pretty." Brook gushed.
"I second that." Jack said.
"She's attractive, but not as beautiful as my girlfriend is." Mikey said.

"She'll never notice us." Jack sighed.

"Jack, shut up. I'll go talk to her." Rye said, smirking.
"Ryan, sit down."
"Nope, I'll be right back."

We watched him as he left our lunch table and walked to her.

"Jack, you think he'll get her number?" Mikey asked.
"Probably." Jack replied.

He started talking and she nodded.

"He's smiling like an idiot." Brook said.
"He is." I said, laughing

Then he came back to our table and sat down.

"Did you get her number?" Mikey asked.
His smile vanished and he shook his head.

"Aw, it's okay, bud." Brook patted him on the back.
I laughed.

Rye glared at me and said, "Oh look who's laughing. You probably couldn't even go up to her and start a conversation! Let alone, get her number."
"I probably can."

"Then go ahead."

At that moment, I stood up and started walking to her.

I tapped her shoulder and she turned around facing me.

"Hey." she said smiling.
"H-hi." I stuttered.

"Did you need something?"
"U-um, I was wondering if you like to grab a t-tea sometime? Or c-coffee?"
She nodded.
"Yeah, sure."
"Okay, c-cool. How a-about tomorrow m-morning before school?"
"Sure, I'll see you then."
"B-bye."

I turned away and quickly walked back to my seat, embarrassed.

"What did ya say?" Jack asked.
"I asked her to grab a coffee or a tea with me tomorrow."
Rye looked at me surprised.

"Well, congrats!" Brook yelled.
"You have to tell us what happens tomorrow." Mikey smirked.

I smiled, and felt my cheeks heat up.
