Inuyasha //Distance// Part 1

//YOUR P.O.V.//

Hair the color of a metallic grey.                                                                                                                                     

Eye's the color of amber, turns into blood red when hes angry.                                                                       

His hair swaying as I watch him walk away.                                                                                                               

His figure soon becoming blurry.          

I was writing in my diary about Inuyasha. I had finally confessed to him and he turned me down. Remembering the event made me want to cry again. Deep inside I knew he liked Kagome, but I kept hoping. That he too had felt the same way as me. That day I felt I had been broken, emotionally and spiritually.

Flashback

"Inuyasha." He turned so he could face me.

"Yes."

"Can we talk, alone." I made eye contact with him as he nodded his head as we starting walking away from the others. With every second I felt my heart beating louder and louder.  Inuyasha stopped walking and I turned to him.

"What is it?"

"I-Inuyasha, I have known you for a while now. During the time of when we were kids up to now. It was really fun being able to grow up with you. I was able to tell how much you have changed over the years. Eventually during all the time being spent with you, I have f-fallen for you." Inuyasha stood quiet as if he was trying to take it all in. I waited for him to respond.

"I- I'm sorry Y/N. But my heart belongs to Kagome." Inuyasha turned his back on me and headed for camp again. As I was watching him walk away my vision was clouded. Tears poured down my face one after the other. I turned and ran the other direction from camp, running as far away from it as possible. I could never face Inuyasha now. I ran until I couldn't run no more. My legs grew tired as I collapsed on the ground in the middle of a field. My tears still running down my face as my sobbing became louder. After about twenty minutes I had finally stopped. I stood up as I walked back the direction I came from. As I was getting closer to the camp I had realized that it was already dark. When I saw a light I walked a little faster. I saw everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. It seemed that the time I was away no one seemed to care. I went to go grab my belongings before I was about to leave I was noticed.

"Oh, there you are Y/N. Where are you going." Sango looked at me in confusion as she spoke. I smiled and turned my back.

"I'm leaving, and I don't plan on coming back." I could feel the tears coming out again as I turned my head to face them one last time. "Goodbye." As the word rolled off my tongue the tears rolled down my cheeks. None of them said a word to me as I started to walk faster away. In a short amount of time I heard leaves rustling as I heard them running after me. I too started running so they couldn't catch up to me. I wasn't paying attention as I ran into someone. We fell to the ground with me on top of them. My head raised to see who I had ran into, I became in shock as I realized I had ran into Sesshomaru.    

"Lord Sesshomaru are you okay!" Rin yelled a few feet away. She ran up to us and seemed to notice me. "Oh, lady Y/N are you okay!" I felt movement under me as I looked below and saw Sesshomaru looking behind me. I turned my head to see the group behind me. Sesshomaru moved so that he was sitting while I was still on top of him, as I was about to get up I felt a pair of hands grab my waist.

"So this was why you were running." My head turned back to Sesshomaru as he had a irritated look on his face. He looked back at Inuyasha with the same expression. "If you changed your mind Inuyasha it's already too late. She's no longer yours." Inuyasha didn't seem to care as he responded to his brother.

"I never wanted her anyways." The pain I felt before had come again but had intensified. My body struggled to get up as my eyes wandered. I found a way to run without being able to get caught up to by any of them. I waited a couple seconds and I bolted away from everyone. I ran faster than before so that they couldn't reach up to me. In the middle of running I was tackled to the ground. I grunted from the pain as the person who tackled me to the ground picked me up and threw me over there shoulder like a sack of potatoes. While I struggled to lift my head I saw that Sesshomaru and the others caught up again. 'Damn can't they just leave me alone.'  The person who was carrying me over there shoulder and placed me on the ground grabbing me by my hair.

"Oh, did you want this back." I recognized the voice as I turned and saw Naraku.

"NARAKU! Let her go." Maroku yelled catching his attention.

"Why it doesn't seem that you want her back. Isn't that right Inuyasha." My eyes travelled to Inuyasha as he just nodded his head slowly. Everyone gasped as I just held my head low. I was thrown over his shoulder again as the area around me started to vanish.

"She will be of great use for me."
