Simone's pov
I woke up with Marcel's arm wrapped around my waist as he loudly snored, i giggled and carefully picked up his arm and replaced my presence with a pillow i saw him snuggle into the pillow, i quickly grabbed my phone and took a photo of his adorableness. I soon walked down the hall lightly knocking on Marina's hearing no reply after a few more times

"Marina if you're not awake i will have to forcibly drag you out of bed" i joked but i was met with no answer, huh not even her muffled complaining i opened the door quietly as possible and walked in to see an empty room and met with silence. Maybe she went out early. As i was leaving i noticed an envelope it read 'dear Simone & Marcel' i quickly tore open the envelope and began to read her letter.

Marcel's pov
  I woke up to a pillow in the place of my girlfriend i heard her footsteps as i got up. She busted into the room with tears streaming down her face i stood up and ran up to her hugging her "hey...shh what's wrong baby" I asked rubbing her back as i sat her down onto the bed. She sat down "read.." was all she managed to spit out as she handed me a letter my eyes widened as i read it "she's gone?!" Simone only nodded as she began to cry into my chest. I saw Marina as a little sister not to mention i gamed with her for years before i started my YouTube channel,

"we should tell the others and all work together to find her" i suggested before Simone could answer i received a discord message from Evan saying 'we need to talk. Now. get on discord.' which sounded quite urgent maybe they knew to. i got up and Simone followed me to my office she sat on my lap as i logged onto Discord being spammed with invitations from Evan i answered and immediately threw my headphones off because Evan was yelling his head off and the guys were trying to calm him down i unplugged my headphones so Simone could hear as well.

Everyone had their facecams on meaning it was important. Their antics were starting to bug me and I think Simone became just as annoyed with everyone yelling and arguing because she yelled at them

"HEY! IDIOTS WOULD YOU STOP FIGHTING IT'S NOT GOING TO HELP ANYTHING!" everyone was surprised but shut up after her sudden outburst since she was always seen as being the calmest in our group of friends i pulled her closer and rubbed her back to calm her down.

Simone's Pov

"okay so i'm assuming you all got the message about Mari or at least Evan did" they looked confused except Evan, he nodded "i only got parts of it though" he told us.
"wait what's happening where's Mari, is she okay?! What letter?" asked a clearly panicked Craig

"well we don't exactly know Simone only found a letter in Mari's room saying she boarded a flight in the early morning and she felt compelled to go" Marcel told them leaving out her reasons "maybe she went to find her soulmate. She always told me she could barely see her string. Maybe it got brighter.." we all looked at Smitty as he proposed this idea "but why wouldn't she tell anybody it seems so rash for her" Tyler added "i mean i'm sure the full letter she wrote gave a reason..." Evan added mumbling so nobody could hear him.

"what do you mean Evan? What possible reason." Brian spouted out. i looked down beginning to cry knowing the reason she left was because she was worried about Marcel's and mine's health as usual putting others before her "it's okay Simone i'm sure it wasn't anyone's fault" Marcel assured me softly "but she said in the letter that she was worried about us Marcy because of those stupid visions she's been having!" i quickly covered my mouth oh god why did i let my emotions take control again.
"What visions Simone," Evan said sternly i looked at Marcel worriedly he also looked at me then looked at the screen i looked over to see them all looking at us worriedly "Simone do you know something we don't. well besides Mari's identity" Smitty asked looking serious for once. "well um she told us not to tell you guys because she thought her gift would freak you guys out and didn't want you guys to worry...." i mumbled the last part.

"what's her gift?" Ryan asked Evan sighed "she can see everyone else's string but not her own" he told the group "she also has graphic visions of soulmates near her before they die then wakes up screaming and in tears.." i added "i never knew that was part of the 'gift'" Evan said adding air quotes around gift "hey guys what if instead of a string she gets like a feeling. Like you said she felt she had to go." we pondered on Craig's observation it was entirely possible and she did say that in the letter.
