The darkness of the night was no soothing balm for the storm that ran through his heart.... He walked into his room with steady strides only to chuck the box he had on his bed.... Not wanting to give it a second thought he decided to seek solance within his favourite companion.... A few hours later as he sat looking through the windows Sanskaar wondered why Dida had given him the box to begin with now?.....He always believed the moon was a reflection of what he felt and wished to see but today as he sat there staring at it in the sky shining in all it's glory he couldn't help but feel aprehensive for he knew once he opened the box there was no going back...

He knew the box held answers he always wanted but now as he was given the chance to seek these he wondered if he really wanted to cut ties with the past? ..... Deciding to end these feelings of nervousness he knew he had Sanskaar decided a call was needed to his most trusted person...He picked up his mobile and dialed the number he kept ready on speed dial, hoping that he had not gone to sleep after all.... Whilst watching the dew drops pour down in jetting speed, allowing it to take with it the streams of leafs it had unleashed in it's wake..... The darkness had opened not only the skeletons of the past but bought with it the thundering of darkness that was yet to seep his soul....

On the otherside of Kolkata the brooding of earlier mist could be felt in the mystical chill of the night....The brooding clouds swished away like the volcanic ash that never stopped bringing forth the storm that was due for so long....As the leafs gushed away in the thundering night....The tapping of the dews was no calming balm that threatened to enter through the shutters that were long forgotten....

As the dews hit the windows a shadow was seen walking through the corridor as other rested...She walked the halls in a swiftly manner whilst settling the keys to her saree....Not looking back once to see if the servants had indeed retired for the night.. She made a hast exit from the mahogany double gated doors to see what the commotion was all about....

Walking the halls of the gardens of the haveli the maiden could be seen gathering her wit's before she stopped in front of the old shack that was once home to all including her..... She turned around only to wipe away the rain drops that had been left on the tattered plaque only to reveal it's owners former name as the Maheswari's... She walked closer to it only to step into puddles that had settled from the earlier downpour only to add to her anxiety and fustration.... Swatting away at her keys on her saree she tried to open the creaking doors that had been bolted tight for a decade, but these where less forgiving for they would not unbolt and eventually when she thought that the greying night was going to remove it's darkness, it's like the violent cloud's reemerged to unleash these gushing winds only to clatter away at the roof top tiles to mercilessly fall from the old cottage at her feet.... That's when Saraswati Maheswari knew that the heavens where no longer going to be split apart.... For it was a sign that indicated for her to be ready to battle with the shadows that she had long forgotten or simply deemed untied... Just as she had been on this thundering night...

She gathered herself with her thoughts and prayed for this night to be over soon....Only to not realise that the real nightmare had just begun and it lay awake watching the moon in all it's glory.....
