Hey guys! I just wanted to admit something since it's funny to me. It probably won't be to any of you but that's fine. I think it's funny. It is: Alexi was originally a filler name. I was learning about the Russian revolution and Peter the Great's son was named Alexi and it was the only guys name I could think about so... Yeah. There's that little tidbit of info for you there. Thank you for reading this and please enjoy this part!

(Y/n)'POV

I glanced around the apartment's lobby and happily saw that it was empty. I shushed Alex, who was walking behind me blindfolded.

"Well, see you!" I said. I turned around to go but stopped. "And don't you take that off until the door closes and if you come out after me, I'll wish a horrible curse upon you."

He chuckled. "I won't. I promise."

I smiled at him and quickly trudged out into the rainy afternoon, flipping up my hood.

I stepped in a deep puddle and the cold water spilled into my shoes. 'So much for my new converse.'

I kept walking and found myself deep in thought about what had happened.

~Flashback thing~

"Shoot. Alex, I'm gonna de-transform." I looked around frantically and stopped, setting Alex on the ground behind a line of trees in an empty park.

"Vam, we're in Versailles. That's like 40 minutes away from Paris. What are we going to do? I can't see your identity."

I looked up at him, shocked that he'd care about that and see the importance of my identity being kept a secret.

"Oh! I know! Blindfold me." He said, pounding his fist onto his palm. I just looked at him astounded.

"Alex, you realize that would look terribly incriminating, right?" I said, holding back a laugh.

"Well, kinda. Now let's hail a cab. They didn't take my phone or my wallet." He said, pulling them out from his back pocket.

I facepalmed for the kidnappers. "How idiotic could you be? I hope they never have kids..."

Alex laughed. "We can use this." He ripped a shred off of his white undershirt. He tried to tie it and failed. "Help?" He said, looking at me. I tied it around his head giggling. I won't lie. He's really nice. This boy eases my mind and lets me laugh freely.

"Now we can go hail a cab. But let's make up a story." I said, hoping he had something in mind.

"Uhh, let's say I have a migraine and light hurts my eyes. That way the driver won't talk to us! It's a win win!"

I smiled. "That plan isn't half bad. Let's go." I said.

"Shouldn't you un-transform?" He asked.

"Yeah. Aries, wings down." I said, accompanied by a flash of purple. "Now come on." I took his wrist and we walked out from behind the trees. I hailed a cab and we drove to the park in the middle of Paris, which was as far as he was going to go, since it was starting to rain and he was a jerky butt nugget.

"Ugh. We need to go. We're at the park. Where's your house?" I asked, trying not to sound angry. And probably failing terribly.

"It's behind the school." He said, taking my hand.

"What-"

"Not trying anything. Just helping you lead me." He said, holding his other hand up defensively.

I sighed and pulled him behind me as we went to his apartment complex.

~Flashback over~

I walked through a puddle, smiling. I held the hand Alex had held minutes before tightly in my other one, blushing, thinking about how amazing that kiss had been...

I hopped through all the other puddles like a kid.
