A/N: Hey guys! Sorry it took me so long to update! I feel really bad. But here's your next chapter! Hope you like it! (p.s. Before you saw that Gabriel was Hawkmoth, what were your theories? I really wanna know because I had a weird one that at least I thought was logical. And thanks for reading the authors note!)

Y/n's POV

Ouch... I tried raising my hand to my head but I couldn't. I opened my eyes and I couldn't see anything but what I thought may be a flashlight pointed at a wall. It was too close to illuminate anything else.

Groaning, I tried to get up, but I was too weak to move my body. As my ears began to wake up, I heard a soft roar, like a new cars engine kind of roar. A sneeze from behind me shocked me enough to let me sit up.

"Umm..." I said softly, "who are you?"

"I'm Alexi. (Alex-ey) You know, the younger security guard you met."

"What happened after I blacked out?" I remembered what had happened foggily. I remembered the ambush, the pain, the terror and desperation on Chats face...

"Chat fought to get you back, which was quite impressive might I say. I really thought Ladybug and him were the item but I do believe I was mistaken. Anyhow, he fought, Ladybug joined, but the man got backup and I left the security guard room and ran to the shop and when I ran in, Ladybug knocked Chat out presumably so that they could get out and regroup but he must have not wanted you to get hurt whatsoever. He was willing to do anything to save you."

I stared blankly at the flashlight. Chat almost died. For me. Not Mari, nor Chloe or anyone else. Me. I'm probably just overthinkin- wait! Why is that what I'm worried about?!

I shook my head and turned my attention to the problem at hand. My hands being tied up. I felt around my restraints and I concluded that it was duct tape. Not super smart idiots. I looked around and saw a little red light in the corner. Of course.

I mustered my strength and pulled at my bindings. It worked. I slid over to the corner under the camera, and using a little bit of tape, I covered the lens.

"Hey, Alexi, why are you here?" I asked.

"Well, I came in when you were being taken. I'm a witness. I think they're just going to-" his voice cracked,"dispose of me." I felt so bad for him. I had value to these people. But poor Alexi had just been at the wrong place at the wrong time and he might die for it. But I had a plan formulating in my head. He wouldn't die on my watch.

I reached back to grab my katana so that I could cut his bindings off his wrists, but I just seized air.

I inwardly cursed. Did I really expect them to keep armed prisoners?
