Chapter nineteen
Can I borrow a kiss? I promise to give it back
✕♛✕♕✕I find it weird how much three words can affect your life just like that. Those words could be anything to 'I want cookies' 'I love you', but words like those, can either be used to love, or to hurt.
It's three words you shouldn't just through around.
I look up to Adrien and give him some kind of smile. The sun was almost full set, blue and orange danced on the night sky, the wind grew colder and the sounds of birds chirping had died down.
He looked back at me, his lips were slightly parted and his hair flowed gracefully with the cold air. His hand found its way to my cheek, carefully tracing little unidentifiable patterns on my cheek.
I could see his eyes twinkle a little, after a while he stopped, his hand traveled down my back and I was suddenly pushed against him.
"What if someone sees us?" My words were slightly muffled, but still understandable.
"Then someone sees us cuddling in the woods like cliche people."
I chuckle at his statement, and leaned into his chest, leaving a goofy smile on my face. My heart on the other hand was fluttering like some on crack butterfly that inhaled too much cocaine. I felt his warmth slowly leave me, bring me back to reality to face the cold harsh wind.
To be honest I was exaggerating about the cold wind, but since it's October it would make sense since it's Autumn, or fall. It was still cold okay?
Adrien looked at me in the eyes, this time his body was slightly facing me and I was facing him.
"Can I borrow a kiss m'lady? I promise I'll give it back" he smirked.
I blinked once, twice, and then suddenly fell back in annoyance. The hard cold ground came in contact with my body, I flung my hands in the hair before slapping them on my face, his laugh could be heard in the distance, ticking me off even more. I shot up and looked at him, that goof ball.
"Way to go Sir I like to ruin moments because it's funny as fu-" My sentence was interrupted when I noticed Adrien gradually climbing on top of me. His smirk grew into a flirtatious smile, although I'm pretty sure that's the same thing.
My eyes shoot daggers at him, on the other hand he doesn't seem to mind my deathly glares. "Get off me you rapist" I whisper harshly,
"Just one kiss?"
"I gave you that said kiss a few weeks ago when I was whacked against a wall"
"That didn't count, you used me to get Alya's forgiveness!" He acted hurt as if my small silly gesture made him easily offended.
I raise my eyebrow, "So what? Haven't you never played pretty pretty princess where she gets kissed on the back of the hand from like 10 princes and nobles?" Just a chuckle escaped his mouth.
"No but I have been the prince that plays with the princesses hearts you know~"he sang, I rolled my eyes knowing what he meant.
A comforting silence filled between us, nothing but the dark sky, sprinkled with little stars and the moon slowly crawling up the sky. His eyes always shined in the dark, like cat or such, my eyes though, they blended in with the sky, almost looked like the sky at night.
I won't deny myself that my eyes are truly beautiful, but his eyes are on a different level of beautiful.
Unconsciously my mouth opens, "Your eyes..have they always been this beautiful?" I slurred. He blinks for a little while before looking at me curiously, my cheeks sprout with heat after realising what I had just said.
