Chapter 5
I stared at the cream-colored building in front of me and took a deep breath, "this is it." I muttered to myself, and strolled inside.
I hate being a new kid, the whispers and the stares you get isn't exactly fun, I never liked attention.
"Nice outfit!" a girl with wavy brown hair said.
I glanced at my outfit, which consisted of a white and Navy blue striped oversized shirt, a denim short and an ecru soft bluchers.
"where did you get those?" She pointed at my shoes.
"Umm.. I got them from Zara." I muttered, fidgeting nervously.
"cool! I'm Lana, are you new here? I don't think I've seen you around before. what's your name?"
"It's Sarah." I smiled.
"do you know where this class is?" I asked, showing her my schedule.
"oh, I can show you where it is, It's near my class, actually."
"Okay."
***
"Just turn left, it's on the corner of the corridor."
"Okay, thanks, I see you at lunch?" "Sure thing! Bye."
"Bye." I said, making my way to the classroom.
I sat on an empty chair, there was no one beside me, which made me kind of glad, cause I don't feel like introducing myself.
never mind that, the teacher will call me anyway.
"good morning class, today we have a new student, please come up here Ms. Parker."
See?
I rose from my seat, when did she came anyway? I didn't see her coming...
"Hello everyone, I'm Sarah, Sarah Grace Parker, err.. I'm a transferee from Saudi Arabia..."
After I introduced myself, I scurried back to my seat, and plopped myself down on the chair, I sigh in relief.
"Please open your book to page one hundred and twenty six...."
I was just about to fall asleep when the bell rings, I rose from my seat, yawning as I strolled out of the classroom.
I made my way to my next class, which was math, which was a bit hard since I don't really now where it is.
after approximately five minutes, I finally found the classroom.
I opened the door carefully, praying that the teacher hasn't arrived, my cheeks turned red as the class went silent as the teacher, who unfortunately has arrived, stared at me, along with every single student in the classroom.
I walked in slowly, awkwardly, goddammit what's with the staring people? Seriously, they're looking at you as if you murdered five people or something.
"You're late." Yes I perfectly knew that I'm late without you having to tell me, thank you very much, I didn't say that out loud though, "sorry, I was lost." I muttered, embarrassed.
"Since this is your first day, I'll let it slip, but be careful next time, understand?"
"Yes, sir."
"Now please introduce yourself."
"Umm..hi, my name's Sarah Grace Parker, I'm a transferee from Saudi arabia..." I hate introducing myself, like, what the hell am I supposed to say?
I sat down on one of the chairs in the very back of the classroom, the chair besides me was empty.
and the class began, after what seemed like forever I checked my watch, only to realize that barely ten minutes passed.
