Ruki's POV
"Can I be of any help?" I asked the ravenette with onyx eyes who had a brown apron on and his sleeves rolled up to his elbow. He glanced at me from cutting a carrot and nodded.

"I could use an extra hand." He said as he went back to cutting the carrots and I went in the kitchen and he handed me an apron and I put it on and rolled my sleeves.

"So Ikki-san."

"Yes?"

"Are you a vampire?" He kept on cutting and then turned to me with a blank expression.

"No."

"Then you are?"

"I'm what you call a sorcerer or a mage. But regular humans call us witches and warlock." He said as he picked up a potato and chopped it.

"I see." I said as I took a knife and potato and began chopping it like he did.

"...What are we making Ikki-san?"

"Chicken breast fillet with mashed potato and a side dish of sautéd vegtables. Medium rare steak with buttered wine sauce. And for dessert, a marble of chocolate and coffee cake with mocha frosting and chocolate shreds."

"...That's.....quite a lot and...."

"Difficult?" He asked sparing me a glance as he continued to chop the potatoes.

"Yeah. And can I make a request?"

"Go on."

"Can you make ebi-fry? Kou actually asked for it." He gave me a nod and told me to get the ingredients from the fridge and I did.

"On second thought. How about you make it? My hands are full with the main dishes and dessert." He said as duplicates of him appeared and started doing the steak and cake.

"Alright. If you don't mind."

"It is fine Ruki."

"Thank you Ikki-san."

"Ikki is fine. Were both nineteen here and go to the same school too." I stopped chopping the potato and turned to him with eyes wide.

"You go too Ryōtei too?"

"Yes and you, Kou and Reiji are in the same class as me or you could day the other way around."

"How come we never noticed?"

"I'm the so called doll of the class."

"Doll? You mean you are the student that always sleeps at the back desk?"

"I may be sleeping all the time but I'm mentally awake. Why do you think you and Reiji always end up second place every exams?" He asked and I was silent.
