Chapter One - Agreement

Then, he pulled the trigger. Misa burst in to tears. Light screamed and his father fell back in his seat. L smiled from the other side of the camera.

"That... Was quite convincing Mr. Yagami," L muttered.

"Well?", Light's father looked at L through the camera in the car.

"Misa Amane is free to go as are you. Though, she will be under twenty-four seven... Surveillance," L said.

"What?!", Misa whined.

"If yiu are not guilty... It shouldn't matter," L sighed.

"I know," Miss grumbled. "I just don't like being watched."

"I understand Miss Aname," L nodded. "Light, your end of the deal."

"Yeah?", Light looked into the camera lens.

"You and I... We will be together. Twenty-four seven," L said monotonously.

"But!", Misa began.

"That's okay," Light nodded.

They set off back to where L was residing.

L held up his cuffed hand, and Light spoke,"Are you sure this is necessary?"

Miss began to whine again,"How me and Light supposed to go on dates! And you want us to kiss infront of you?! I knew you were a pervert!"

Light sighed,"Misa. Calm down."

"But Light!", She whined as she hung off his arm.

"Aname!", L said sternly, then softened his tone. "I don't want you to do anything In front of me Misa."

"Hmph!", Misa crossed her arms. "Fine!"

She sighed and stomped out of the room. Light sighed and shook his head.

"She is... feisty," L noted.

"And possessive," Light rubbed his arm.
