The Past

Before Lissethie happened, Lissette was just a regualar, average, normal, weird, lonely, average, heart-broken, and did I mention average(?) 6th grader.

Her heart had been recently broken by Rick, a boy who had left her. Lissette was very sad after the break up. She cried by her SUPER-DUPER, PERFECT, KIND, WONDERFUL, SMART, KAWAII, FASHIONABLE, RELIABLE, BEST FRIEND, Kiwi's, side all the time.

"I miss Rick."

"I still have feelings for Rick."

"Should I tell him?"

"I hate Rick."

"I love Rick."

"Why did Rich leave me?"

"His new girlfriend hates me."

"I've totally moved on."

"Wait no, that's a lie"

She seemed to always be talking about him. Always crying, questioning, ...wondering.

Kiwi, Ashley(another friend), and more were getting super tired of Lissette's drama. It was becoming a pain to see her fall all over him every time he walked by. Kiwi decided to learn more about Rick, and wanted to become friends, not really caring about Lissette and his background.

"Hey, Rick."

Rick turned around. He was very surprised because Kiwi was not one to talk. She was very shy, yet super Kawaii.

"Um... Hi, Kiwi," he replied.

That was the start of a BEAUTIFUL new friendship!

Lol jk. They just talked occasionally.

Lissette didn't love the idea of Kiwi and Rick being friends, but she was okay with it. Even though Lissette never actually said this, everyone could tell.

Rick and Seth actually became friends later in the school year. Which is how Seth and Lissette meet. For an ex couple, Lissette and Rick seemed to get around fine. In front of other people, that is. Rick introduced Seth to Lissette, and that's how it started.

His ice blue eyes sparkled as they met her dark brown ones. And the blue highlights in his hair made him look super cute and mysterious. He had a bright smile that lit up the whole city of Los Angeles, which is where their school, O.K., was located.

"Hey," Seth said to Lissette.

"Um...hel-" her voice cracked. She was really nervous. "Hello," Lissette finally said.

Seth walked away, unaware of Lissette staring at him as he went.

"Wow!!! Did you see him, Kiwi?! He was-- he- I- he-" Lissette stuttered.

"Yeah he was pretty cute," Kiwi mentioned. She elbowed Lissette.

"Somebody has a cruuuuuuuush!" Kiwi sang.

"Whatever," Lissette says playfully. But really, Kiwi was right.

But it was just a small crush.

Lol that's a lie.

Seth and Lissette became friends after a while, and soon, Lissette found the courage to invite him to Kiwi's table, which is where they all sat.

The table got a bit crowded because Kiwi, the popular one, sat there.

But of course this story isn't going to be about Kiwi.
