OMG Austin actually asked me out

"Yes!"

I was so excited I ran home and walked through the door with a big smile on my face

I closed the door and my brother was there

"What do you want you spoiled little twit?" the smile wiped off my face as I saw him

He gets everything he wants

He has an iPad and and Ipod, xbox, 3ds, and a wii

What do I have... an iPhone

"Mom. sis called me a spoiled little twit" he yelled

He's such a tattle tale

I hate this family

"Kylie Renee. get your ass in here now!" My mother screamed

My brother gave me an evil grin

I walked into my mothers room and she hit me on the arm over and over

I held back the tears but winced at every hit

After about six or seven hits she stopped and shooed me off

I got to my room and took off my shirt to look at my arm

It was bright red

My phone rang and I answered it

"Hello?"

"Hey babe, how are you?" it was austin I could tell by his sweet voice

"I don't really want to talk now, I'm sorry." I replied in a shaky tone

"Can I pick you up?" he asked

"Austin, please"

"Great I'll be there in 5 min" he didn't live far away. His house was a few blocks down

I put down the phone and threw on a black spurs shirt and black shorts

I heard a knock at the door and ran down the stairs past my step dad and slid out the door without him seeing me

"Hey" he said

"hi there!"

He held me close to him

I put my arms around his neck and he puts his hands around my waist

He kissed me

We stood there for about two minutes and he lead me to his car

He opened up my door

"Why thank you sir"

"Anything for me lady" he said in a British accent

He got in on his side and took me to his house

Once we got there he kissed my cheek

We got out and he opened the door to his house

I walked to the couch but before I could sit down he tackled me playfully

after a few seconds of wrestling he started to tickle me

I couldn't resist the laughter

He stopped

"Where's your mom?" I asked

"At her house, why?" He said getting off of me so I can get comfy

"So this house is yours?"

"Yes"

"I wish I could move out" I said frowning

He rubbed my shoulder

"OUCH!" I yelled

"Oh sorry. What happened?"

He lifted up my sleeve and found the spot where my mom beat me

"What happened?" he asked again

I frown

He looks at me and lifts my chin

"My... my mom...uh...she"

"She what?"

"She hit me that's all" I said making it sound like no big deal

He pulled me in for a hug

A tear slipped down my face

"You can live with me if you would like...my house is big enough for the both of us...but my friend Alex lives here too" he offered

I would love to stay here

"Thanks austin, but you don't have to do that"

"I insist"

"Fine I'll stay" I said giving in. How could austin be so... so mean at school but so nice outside of school

"You'll have to sleep on the couch until we get a bed in the extra room" Austin said getting up and brushing off dust from his pants even tho there was none

"As long as I get out of that house, I don't care where I sleep"

He took me over to my 'old house' to let me get my things

Thankfully everybody was out of the house

I sent a text to my mom saying I was moving out and she replied "fine"

I got my clothes and stuff and loaded it in Austin's car

When I was done I went into my moms room and "accidentally" dropped her vase of flowers and glass went everywhere along with water splashing on the floor

I ran out of the house and hoped in Austin's car

We got to his house I put my things in the spare room and was tired so I fell asleep on the couch

I heard footsteps coming toward me and Austin leaned over and kissed my forehead

"I love you" he whispered

I was to lazy to whisper back so I just went back to sleep
