The Artic

After the war against Iraq the USA government wanted to be the strongest country in the world.

The whole project was funded by the government. The president or Congress didn't even know about this project. So the government made sure no one would see the project they were working on by building the base in the artic. After that they hired people and payed them not to say anything. Then they hired me and the other 5 scientists. Dr. Janos, Dr. Samantha, Dr. Jean, Dr. Sterling and Me.
I thought this would be a great job. Untill i figured out we were going to the artic. I tried to back out but they wouldn't let me. Now i  was in a helicopter and i was bored out of mind. In the helicopter i noticed that they were all jumpy. The government probably told them if they quit the program they would be held against treason.
Leave it to the government to scare people. Then i noticed Dr. jean looking at me and smiling. "Hey how are you" jean said. "Good" i replied". I liked the way she smiled it was nice to see a smiling face out of this. As i kept looking out the window i thought how it was the perfect place to hide a project. No one could see it and no one would even try to come here sinxe its so cold.
"Five minutes till we land" the pilot yelled. I started to grab my things. As i looked out the window one more time i saw that the base was huge. Then i saw the landing pad and saw people near it. That mus be the guy.in charge of this base. As the pilot landed the helicopter near the entrance i saw him looking straight into my eyes.
Nothing like a man looking at you to scare you and make you feel welcome at home. As Janos opened the door we all got out and started to walk away form the helicopter before it took off. As we  moved foward the guy in charge  introduced himself.  "Greetings welcome to bunker 1. I am Chan and this is were you will be working on the project". Then he smiled which i thought was really creepy and so did the other scientist.
