Supa Strikas got a new player!?

IT'S SHOW TIME

(sighs)"It's finally happening, everything is going to be okay, think of your sister or mother how proud they'll be of you once you make history" said Riley

"You alright?" asked Dancing Rasta, looking at the distressed face of the girl

"No, everything's alright, it's just a bit of fright" she said

"Well coming from someone who's been on tv and world tours so much, I don't believe you would have stage fright, even though it's only a field with 80 000 fans shouting and screaming" said Shakes

"Thanks, but your not helping" she said

"Its alright everything's going to be fine, just be yourself and don't worry about who's looking at you or who's got your attention, besides I bet the fans will love you more than they love us" said Dancing Rasta

"Well I won't be looking forward for that, just try to stay out of my way while I'm scoring goals got it" said El Matador

"Pffft! Are you always like this?" said Riley

"Well you're gonna be expecting this from him before a match, it's supposed to prep you up so you can score more goals than him" said Shakes

She stands with all the confidence she could find in her heart and lets a big breath of air out. She stretches her hand out:

"I'm ready,are u guys ready?"she said

"3, 2, 1, SUPA STRIKAS" They all shout hi-fiving their logo before walking out, but when it was her turn she looked up at it and wondered;

"I'm I ready to be one of them?, that's just crazy, you are already one of them and now there's no turning back it's time to make an appearance" she said

"So where's the new player that has the news going hysterical and making new amends in super league, did he chicken out and go crying in fear of us" said Ninja

" you mean..." said El Matador interupted

"shhh! you don't want to blow it for them do you now" said Northshaw

"Well the player is going to be here in anytime so lets just focus on winning the game" he said

The two teams walk out in two single files awaiting for the last person to join them. Riley walks through hallway of the entrance field and stops 2 meters from it looking at the field and how big it is, she gives herself a big smile and says these three words.

"It's show time!"she said

She walks confidently onto the soccer field and the stadium is silent for a moment or so. She looks around and looks at the teams standing right in front of her, The cosmos look suprised and shocked especially Ninja who thought that it was a he.

(In the commentary room)

"Umm... Mac its a girl" said Brenda

"Yes i can see that Brenda, I can see" said Mac

"I wonder how the fans are gonna react" she said

"I don't know, I just just don't know" he said

Spenza gives a huge clap of hands and cheer to keep her in the action and the supa strika fans follow his lead giving her a warm welcome to the field shouting and cheering.

"So are you ready to play new girl?!" Said Dancing Rasta

"Always" she said

"A girl!?, are you guys delusional, have you gone soft!?" questions Ninja

"what bout it? you scared I might be better then you?" she said

"No, I ain't!, hey ref is this even allowed?" he said

"there's no rule bout it, all registrations have been closed" said the referee

"to bad now I cant get disqualified" she said jokingly

"can we start the match, please?"

"sure"

They both get into the pitch to begin the game, Supa Strikas got the advantage because its their Home field their playing on, so the ball is theirs. When thinking of a strategy Ninja was already ahead plotting a plan. Riley is the current forth forward, her hands shaking, but a reassuring voice knocked her back into reality.

" Its gonna be alright, we believe in you" said Shakes.

"Thanks I really needed that" she said

"hey! you're one of us, so no need to think bout it twice" he said

(The whistle sounds)

The ball is passed from Shakes to El Matador to Rasta. Cosmos are in a wild goose chase as keeping track of the ball is difficult, right until Riley's chance came in, she sprints with the into penalty area until she gets fouled by one of the cosmos players, but it couldn't be official since it was half time.

"Hmmpmh! pro soccer is no place for a girl" said Ninja

(helping her get on her feet)" what you did isn't right at least she didn't get hurt" said Cool Joe

"yeah, yeah!" said Ninja

"you alright sister?" he asked

" never better" she said

"are you sure" walking to the locker rooms catching up with the rest of the team

"of coarse I am, this isnt the worst tackle I've got, living with a younger sister who's a teen is much worse especially if you're someone very dear"

"okay"

"You fine Riley?" asks Coach

"Never felt more alive, but I'll get him back"

" well they're not going to go easy on you, that's why you'll need to play smart watch out for every tackle or foul they'll try to give" said Coach

"Got it, as long as no one worries a lot I need you guys to focus on the game not me. I know that I'm the only female player in the league but that doesn't necesarily mean you all have to worry,NO! I'm very much mature to take care of myself, so please do me one favor and focus on the game at hand not me,will you?" she said

They all nod an understanding nod and look to Coach for an inspirational advice.

"She said it all, so you ready?" He said

They head out to the pitch for the second half, but it's still nil, nil and only 1 goal could save one of them the defeat. The whistle sounds, the ball moves from the center circle into supa strika territory. Ninja pushing with the ball forward but he stops suddenly and finds Riley right in front of him staring at him deathly;

"so what you gonna do?" he said tauntingly

but she just stood there until Ninja decided to move, then she moved. He tries to dribble her and escapes laughing knowing that she couldn't do anything.

"how pathetic you are you couldn't get the ball out of my control, how lame you are"

" look again"

he looks down to find himself without posession of the ball, she quickly runs passing it to Rasta then back to her at the penalty area getting ready to score, with one tap the ball goes into the air and leaps for it sending a powerful shot to the goal net before full time.

"gooooaaaal!" comments Mac int the commentary room

"i did it, i did it, my first goal!" she said

"yeah! you did, you the bomb! like..." said cool joe

"yeah I am"

"party at my club, everybody's invited"

They all cheer as they rush to get prepared. What bout Riley we bout to find out when she hits downtown.
