Mal found Jay and Carlos at her locker.

"Hey, boys." Mal sighed.

"You ok? You've got some bruises." Jay pointed to her face.

"They hurt but the pain is bearable." Mal looked at Carlos. "You've got a cut on your hand." She grabbed his hand and looked at it. She looked at Jay. "You've got a burn mark on your cheek."

"We know. It was Clay Clayton." Carlos looked at the floor.

"Where's Evie?" Mal asked.

"She had to go home early because he Mum fell over and hurt her knee." Carlos replied.

"When did she go?" Jay opened his locker which was next to Mal's.

"About an hour ago." Carlos watched Jay put everything he had into his locker.

"What day is it?" Mal looked at Carlos.

"Wednesday." Carlos leant up against his locker which was next to Mal's as well.

"And the time?" Mal folded her arms.

"4 o'clock." Carlos's face fell.

"We're gonna be late!" Jay slammed his locker shut.

"We have to get to Evie's!" Carlos started running. Mal and Jay ran after him.

Meanwhile, at Evie's house...

Evie was in the living room with her Mum. She had to help her around the house because The Evil Queen had dislocated her knee cap. Evie helped her sit down and she knelt in front of her TV.

"Come on, TV! Turn on!" Evie tried switching it on. "Stupid piece of sugarcane!" She hit the sides.

"Evie!" The Evil Queen scolded at her.

"Sorry, Mother." Evie kept her eyes on the TV. The doorbell rang.

"Evie, get the door." Her Mum groaned.

"Mal! Jay! Carlos! Come on!" Evie shouted. She heard the door open and her friends ran to her.

"Hello, dears." The Evil Queen smiled at them.

"Hi, Miss. Queen." The others didn't look at her.

"Stupid TV!" Evie smacked the screen. She sat down on on the floor with her friends as their favourite show, The Musical Isle Show, turned on. It's a show where Islers sung songs or did a dance or played an instrument live on TV. The presenter was Madame Medusa.

"Hello, diamonds. Today, we have a special young singer from Dragon Hall. She is the most unique looking person in her family and she has magical powers that she could use it Bor-adon...Mad Maddy!" The camera moved onto Mad Maddy. She was with the Gaston twins, Ginny Gothel and Claudine Frollo.

"Mal, Jay, Evie, Carlos, this song is for you! They came from way far out. In outer space. They're hard to miss and so. They landed on their faces."

The twins joined in. "They've got cooties!" They lifted her into the air.

"Cooties." Ginny and Claudine twirled.

"They've found a place to nest." Maddy winked.

"They've got cooties!" The twins twirled her.

"Cooties." Ginny and Claudine gasped.

"If I were them I'd be depressed. Long-tailed, sharp nails. Fuzzy legs, laying eggs. Come on everybody, let's stamp them out!" Maddy giggled.

"They've got cooties!" Her friends danced.

"In science class. They're like a walking show-and-tell." Maddy walked towards the crowd.

"They've got cooties!" The others lifted her onto their shoulders.

"You know they're coming down the hall. From just their smell." Maddy waved the air in front of her nose as if there was a bad smell.

"They've got cooties." The twins lowered her.

"Cooties." Ginny and Claudine let Maddy sit on their knees.

"Nobody wants to sit by them." Maddy pushes them.

"She's got cooties." The twins danced with Ginny and Claudine.

"Cooties." The two girls did a side Ariel.

"Don't need a coat. 'Cause they've got fur! Circle, circle. Dot, dot, dot." Maddy made two circles with her fingers.

"Hurry, get your cootie shot!" They five shouted.

"Dresses like some circus clowns." Maddy smirked.

"Somebody oughta hose them down." Her friends did back flips.

"Grew up in a cootie zoo. I bet their two-ton mamas's got 'em too. And that's for you." Maddy did the splits. The crowd cheered. The VK's had their mouths open.

"She did not just do that." Mal closed her mouth.

"Why would she do that to us?" Evie asked.

"Because everyone hates us and she's a show off." Jay pulled his knees to his chest.

"Maddy picks on the weak." Carlos laid back on the floor.

"Isn't she a pretty girl?" The Evil Queen smiled at Maddy's beautiful image.

"Mum!" Evie looked at her. "She bullies us!"

"This is the Isle, Evie. You have to learn to stick up for yourselves." Her Mother told her.

"That's easier said than done." Carlos muttered.

"Mal, that is your Mother, right?" Jay tapped Mal's arm. Mal looked at the TV.

"Another proclamation made by me is the pirates from Pirates Bay are allowed to come down to our part of the Isle tomorrow! Who can stay at the docks without going insane?" Maleficent laughed.

"Pirates?" The VK's stood up.

"Ah, pirates." They looked at Evie's Mum. "You four better watch out for a whole lot of ugly. Pirates wear all leather and the best wear hats. They are tough, rough and they always look scruff. You better watch out for the Hooks, especially Harry and CJ. Harriet has the family's ugly gene so you don't have to worry about her. Harry and CJ are gorgeous. Don't fall for their looks."

"We can just go to Ursula's Fish and Chips. The Slop Shop is pretty popular so the pirates will be going there. We'll be safe in Ursula's." Jay smiled.

"Hopefully." Carlos sat up.

"It's bad enough that we have to avoid everyone at Dragon Hall." Mal sighed.

"Thanks for the information, Mum." Evie sat next to her.

"The pirates are also amazingly talented. The crew you will want to look out for is the Lost Revenge crew. The Captain is Uma, Ursula's daughter. Harry Hook is her first mate so try not to get hooked." The Evil Queen looked at Evie. "And don't mess up your makeup."

"I won't." Evie rolled her eyes.

"Let's go to my place, guys. I need to talk to my Mum." Mal led everyone to Bargain Castle. "Business is exploding."

"There's my cousin. Run!" Jay pushed his friends though the crowd. "Jade is not an interesting talker."

"She seems...ok." Carlos shrugged.

"But she's a pain." Jay stopped pushing them. Mal led them to the top floor.
