Chapter 12

Bethany's POV:

"Oh my god, this is amazing!" I amazed. I never saw an amusement park like this before. It was really cool, a lot of cool rides.

"Come on, we have the whole evening and night in here. They close at 11" he held his hand and I took it.

We walked through the amusement park. We stopped in front of popcorn stand, then he bought one for me, such a gentleman. He brought me to the big roller coaster, but before I went for a ride, my phone buzzed. I took a peek on my phone and it was my mom.

"Who is it?" Steven asked.

"It's my mom. She said they'll be home late because they working late tonight" I said while my head still facing the phone.

"That's good, what about Jackson?"

"She said he stays in his friend's house tonight"

"Okay, that solves everything. That means we had our evening and night to ourselves" I nodded. Finally, it was our time to ride the roller coaster. My heart pounded really fast because I was really nervous, but Steven held my hand. I glanced at him and he gave me the face "you'll be fine, I'm here"

We rode the roller coaster, it was really fun. I think I shouted the loudest, that's what I think, but it took away my thought for a second and it felt so good. I don't even remember when was the last time I felt happy like this. After that, he took me to another ride, like a carousel, bumper cars, and more of the rides. We finally ended up on the Ferris wheel. The view was great up on the Ferris wheel. I can see most of LA from it. When the Ferris wheel stopped and we were on the top of the Ferris wheel, suddenly Steven puts his hands on mine, made me glanced at him again. His blue eyes stared deeply into my brown eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"I just realized that you have the most beautiful eyes in the whole world"

"Shut up" I blushed.

"No really. You have the prettiest face I ever seeb. You're great, and I don't know why I ever let you go" I was speechless. How he said it, with his husky voice, it made me shiver.

Something felt different. "Oh my God, does he lean in to me? Does he want to kiss me?" I said to myself in my head. I stared at his blue eyes, I moved my hands to his hair and then pushed it to me so our lips met. The kiss wasn't soft, but it was deep and warm. Suddenly, I felt something weird in my stomach. It was like butterflies in my stomach. He puts his hand on my waist and while we were kissing, I played with his hair. I softened the kiss and I pulled sway. He stared deeply into my eyes again, he smirked.

"Shut up" I pushed his chest. I could feel my cheeks were red.

I was shocked when the Ferris wheel moved, made me scream. Steven was just laughing, "You screamed like a girl" he laughed.

"I AM A GIRL" I hit his shoulder. 

"Ouch, it hurts" he rubbed his shoulder, I was just smiling at him.

I can't believe it, I just kissed Steven. From all this month, I'm still in love with him. I was really angry at him because he cheated, but I never knew I was still in love with him, that was sick. Well, I can say every time Steven was with Naomi and had their romance thing, sometimes I got jealous, but sometimes I want to puke too. Oh my god, my mind felt want to explode because of all this intense stuff. 

Our cart stops and that means we should get out of the Ferris wheel. Steven stood up first, then he held out his hand. I took his hand and I stood up from the Ferris wheel. We walked down the amusement park. We just talked and joked around. Tonight was the best night after a couple months of drama and depression. We walked out of the amusement park about 10 o'clock. He decided to take me home first, because he thinks a girl shouldn't be alone at night, which I agree. 

"Do you have a great time tonight?" he asked.

"Yeah, thanks. This is the best night ever after a couple months of fucking drama" I tucked my hair behind my ear.

"No problem. I know what you're been through this whole time, and what just happen between you and Matt, I think you need to have some fun" I just smiled. Matt used to be like this. "Bethany" he called. I glanced at him.

"What?" I said softly.

"About on the Ferris wheel..." 

"Yeah" we stopped. 

"I was just... I mean I want to..." he can't even said a word, and actually with him just saying like that, I can understand what he was trying to say.

"Yes" I said.

"Seriously?" he was shocked.

"Yeah, but I want to take it slow"

"Sure, slowly is good" he grinned. He cupped my face and lift it, then he pressed his lips to mine. It was soft and good. I could feel butterflies in my stomach. When he pulled away, we just stared each other eyes. "Good" he said with his husky voice.

"Good" I smiled.

We already in my neighborhood, and we had not talked for a couple minutes. The last conversations that we had was after the kiss. My heart was pounding so fast because of the excitement, I can't believe it was happening again. Me and Steven were together again and I guess Megan will yell at me. You know Megan, she prefers Matt rather than Steven, that's why she ship us so much.

"You told me that you want our relationship slowly, is that mean I can't tell my friends about us tomorrow?" he asked. I think he was new to this kind of relationship.

"No, you can still just tell your friends tomorrow, what I mean by slowly is we took things slowly, like we don't have a sex in just 2 days of relationship, and stuff like that"

"Of course, how about next week?" 

"Steven!" I slapped his arm.

"I'm joking" he laughed.

"Ha-ha, very funny" I used my sarcastic tone.

"Hey, I'm just kidding. Don't take it too far" he hugged me.

We finally arrived at my house. My eyes caught something on the steps in front of my house. It was dark so it's hard to see clearly, but after I looked carefully, I realized who is it.

"Matt" I called. He was sleeping on the steps in front of my house. After I called his name a couple times, he woke up. He rubbed his eyes. "Why are you  sleeping on my steps? Did you get drunk?"

"What?! No! Bethany, I was looking for..." he stopped when he saw Steven standing beside me. "Oh"

"What?" I glanced my head to Steven, "Oh yeah, Steven asked me to go to the new amusement park with him" he nodded.

"I better go" he began to walk away.

"Matt, wait" I stopped him. I walked toward him, leaving Steven alone in front of my house. He turned around, facing me. "Why were you looking for me?"

"It's not important" he shook his head. "I'll talk to you tomorrow. I don't want to interrupt you guys" he turned around and walked away from me.

What was he doing here? Why was he looking for me? How long had been waiting for me in front of my house? A lot of questions in my head, made my head feels want to explode into a million pieces.

A/N: Poor Matt. He's been waiting for her for the whole the evening, and in the end he can't tell her what he wants to say.

We also can see that Bethany and Steven are back together, who is agree with this couple?
