Living with seventeen

Chapter 3

*two weeks later, day of the flight*

Today I woke up at 4 in the morning because my flight for Korea leaves today at 8. I have everything packed, well not everything. There's a couple things that my parents are going to ship over there once I get settled in. I got ready and brought down my luggage.

My parents were both up too and they were making breakfast. Alli was coming over too, she was coming to the airport with me and my parents. She said she would be here around 4:30 or earlier but now it was almost five. Just as I was wondering where she was, she burst through the door yelling "omg I'm sorry I'm late, I was eating yogurt and I spilled it all over so I had to change clothes!"
"Only you." I laughed

When she got here the breakfast my parents were making was done, so me and her set the table.
We talked about me going to Korea and some other stuff. Once we were done we got into the car and headed straight towards the airport.

*at the airport*
We were standing by the security and saying our goodbyes.
I was standing in front of my parents.
"Hun, we're proud of you that you're actually doing this. Going to another country and living far from your parents can be really hard for some people" my mom said, she was looking like she was about to cry.
My dad started "we're gonna miss you a lot, we'll visit you as soon as possible. When you get there text or call us. We want to make sure you survive the plane ride."
"Dad! Don't say that you know I hate planes, and I'll miss you too guys."
Him and my mom just laughed at me.
I smiled "And mom you better not cry, or else I will cry too"
" I'll try not to, you should go say goodbye to Alli."
I nodded and walked over to Alli.

"So I guess this is it."
"I guess."
"Hey, you'll visit me too; right? I'll help you pay for anything if you do. If I can I will pay for everything."
"Of course I'll visit you, and you don't have to pay for anything. I can do it myself."
"What if I want to pay."
"Than I guess I'll have to let you, because knowing you, you wouldn't stop asking me unless I say yes, but I definitely don't want you to pay for everything."
We laughed
"Call me when you get there; Okay?"
"I will."
" you should get going, it takes a while to get through security and you're probably gonna want to just chill before you get on the plane, maybe even get something to eat."
"I already ate breakfast though"
She looked at me "really."
"Just kidding, I'm definitely gonna get some more food."
"I know you so well, don't I."
"Yup you do."
We laughed again
"Okay now shoo"

I laughed and hugged everyone and went through security after shouting "I love you!" to all of them.

* a little while later*
I handed the girl my ticket and sat down on the plane. I thought I was gonna be sitting alone because everyone had gotten on the flight, but before they could close the doors you could here someone shouting "WAIT IM HERE, DON'T CLOSE THE DOORS." They held the door and he eventually got on the plane but next thing you know he sat down next to me. I didn't say anything, you know, just minding my own business-
"Hey I'm joohyuk"
I looked over at him, and hey he was pretty attractive might I say. I saw he was holding his hand out for handshake so I slowly reached in and shook his hand.
"And yours?"
"Oh I'm ChaeYoung." I said slowly taking my hand away.
"Are you Korean-American?"
Isn't that a random question to ask?
"Oh yeah, I am."
"That's cool I am too."
The plane has just taken off and there was awkward silence for a little bit.
"Where you born in America."
"No, I was born in korea, I moved here when I was young but now I'm going back to Korea to live there."
"So one of your parents are Korean and the other American right."
"Yeah."
"I'm biracial, my mom is American and my dad is Korean, they met here in America and they fell in love."

Some more awkward silence
"Who are you visiting?"
"Oh, I'm going to Korea for a job my uncle offered me."
He laughed "what are the odds, I'm going to go live with my uncle "
We talked until we got tired, we actually have a lot in common and he seemed nice and he was fun to talk to and than we went to sleep. I didn't sleep for long because I knew when we got there it would be nighttime and if I got a lot of sleep, I wouldn't be able to go to sleep when I get there.

* In korea*
Me and joohyuk were walking out of the airport.
"Bye, it was nice meeting you." He said with a smile
"You too, bye!." I smiled back
I hailed a taxi and I was about to get but all of a sudden
"WAIT.!"
I turned around and he was running towards me . When he got to me; he was panting like crazy.
I looked at him until he caught his breath
"Can I have your number."
What did this boy just say
"Um sure." I said as I was blushing like crazy. He gave me his phone and I typed in my number.
"You can go now, I just wanted your number, bye!" He said as he ran off
I got in the taxi.
"Where do you need to go." He asked
"Pledis entertainment please." I said with a huge smile on my face.

* at Pledis Entertainment*

There it is, I'm finally here.
I was walking towards the door but I got a text so I looked down at my phone, all of a sudden a door flung in my face and I feel on the ground. It hurt so bad and all I could hear was someone yelling
"OMG I JUST KILLED SOMEONE, WHAT DO I DO. IM TOO YOUNG TO GO TO PRISON."
"I'm not dead." I mumbled
I see a hand reaching out so I grab it and the person helped me up
"Thank you." I said as I was brushing dirt off my shirt
"No problem." The person said
Wait a minute, that voice sounds oddly familiar.
I looked at the person and omg

"Di-Di-Dino!?"
"Oh are you a fan, I'm sorry I hit you but you can't be here if you are a fan. I can help you on your way out."
"Yes, I mean no but yes."
He looked at me weirdly
"Yes, I'm a fan but I'm going to be working here too."
"Oh that's cool, since you'll be working here; I'll see you around. But hey I really got to go, bye!"
He hit my shoulder and ran off while I stood there frozen.
Omg I just met Lee Chan, I met Dino from seventeen..my favorite kpop group!!
"OMG OMG OMG. I'm going to die . Okay ChaeYoung just breath."
I caught my breath and walked through the door and went up to receptionist
"Hello, my name is ChaeYoung, I'm here to see my uncle."
"Oh yes, I'll take you there."
She took me to his room and I walked in
"Hello ChaeYoung." He said in a toon
He continued "Its nice to finally see you in person, I've only seen pictures of you.Before I tell you about everything you will be doing;I think you should get some sleep, so how about I take you to your room. You remember that you're staying with your cousin right?"
"Yes, my dad told me."
"Ahh Okay, well let me call your cousin to tell him you're here."
"Umm okay." I stood there awkwardly
Once he was done with the call he looked at me and told me to follow him.

"Okay we're here, this is where you'll be staying."
He had stopped in front of a door and knocked on it.
Somebody opened the door
"This is your cousin, Jeonghan." My uncle said
I looked at the person
My jaw came loose.
Jeonghan from seventeen was MY COUSIN.!
