This seat is quite cold

This white painted concrete,

Quite unsettling.

I’m all alone in this row

of wires and old fashioned key boards

and now I’m tired

and now I’d like to sleep,

But alas,

I must continue to type away

because apparently

Genetically Modified Organisms

are more important

than learning the science

behind chronic illnesses

and diseases

such as depression.

Because GMOs are relevant in my life
