Reader's POV 'Gosh. He's taking too long.' You sighed. You proceeded to check the messages you sent to Peter. 'Still no reply. Great.
Today marks your 2nd year anniversary as lovers. Obviously, you were really disappointed. I mean, Who wouldn't? He kept cancelling your plans together and you were sick of it. The absolute worst scenario is being stood up, which is currently happening to you right now while waiting for your boyfriend in his room.
'That's it. I think he's cheating on me.'
This has been happening for around 8 months and you tend to overthink a lot. So, the thought of Peter cheating on you really kills you inside.
You grabbed your phone and was about to send him a voice mail when you heard the window open but what you saw shocked you.
PETER FREAKING PARKER IS SPIDER-MAN!?!
You silently watched him crawl on the apartment's ceiling and landed on the door with a quiet thud.
He still didn't notice you sitting on his bed so he quickly removed his suit, scared for Aunt May to find out that he's Spider-Man. I mean let's face it, she can barge in whenever she wants to without even knocking.
After successfully removing the suit, he spun around to find you staring at him with wide eyes and mouth wide open.

"Y/N!!!! I c-can ex-" He said while fumbling with the shirt in his hands.
You cut him of. "Shut up, Parker. You're freaking Spider-Man!" You said with eyes still wide open.
"I-uh-yeah. I-I'm sorry for not telling you about this and for always bailing on you." He stuttered.
You stood up from the bed and walked towards him. "Hey. You don't have to feel sorry for this. You save people, Pete. I get that." You said softly.
"W-wow thanks babe. I-uh-didn't really expect that kind of reaction. I mean, I expected you to, you know be more angry an- Shoot. I'm rambling again, am I?" He asked shyly.
You chuckled and nodded your head. 'How can someone be this adorable.' You asked yourself.
"I'm gonna make it up to you." He said with a hint of determination. He walked towards you and touched your cheek.
"By the way, Happy 2nd Year Anniversary, babe." He told you lovingly.
"Happy 2nd Year Anniversary to you too, Peter."
He cupped you face and was about to kiss you when you told him,
"And oh yeah, nice abs."
Wow, way to ruin the mood.
