Chapter 2: My Name is Naruto!

"Look kid, I don't want to hurt you, just let go through."

You say stressfully. It's 10 in the morning, you just arrived to Konoha and the kid in front of you won't let you pass the gates. 'This is so dumb.' You think to yourself, looking around for some shinobi that could help you get in. "My name is not kid!! My name is Konohamaru! I am the Hokage's grandson, so don't you disrespect me!" Konohamaru shouts as he throws tiny rocks at you. The rocks hit you but your unfazed by them. He continues to shout, "I saw your missing-nin picture and I'm not letting you anywhere NEAR my village!! I know what you're trying to do, you shady lady!!" Your left eye starts twichting as you begin to run out of patience. "And what do you think I'm trying to do, huh? I'll tell you, I'm trying to get in so I can taLK TO THE HOKAGE! WHAT'S SO ILLEGAL ABOUT THAT?" You shout as you catch a big rock he just threw at you. "Well uh- Do you have an appointment? Yeah! I don't think so!!" The kid says as you rage more and more. Oh boy, you hate kids like him. "And hoW EXACTLY WOULD YOU KNOW?!!" You shout at him as villagers passing by start to notice what's going on. 'So much for being stealthy.' You rub your eyes with your hand as Konohamaru keeps shouting nonsense at you. 

When you open your eyes, you take a look at the villagers gossiping behind the gates. Suddenly, your eyes widen as you spot Itachi walking by. 'Wait that can't be, Itachi is doing a mission in Sunagakure.' You rub your eyes and take another look. You realize that indeed he's not Itachi, he's way smaller and with shorter hair. 'A mini Itachi?' You look at him closely when he suddenly looks back at you. At first he seemed a bit surprised but he quickly walked away, giving you a suspecting look. 'Oh, wait- He must be Itachi's little brother.' You think to yourself as you recall learning about Itachi's past through the gossiping mouth of Hidan. "Hey! Look at me when I'm talking to you!!" You come back to your senses when you hear Konohamaru shout at you. You look back at the kid and realize that this is going nowhere, and you're better off not making the whole official entrance you were planning. You take a deep breath and drop the rock Konohamaru had thrown at you before. "You know what, kid? You're right, I should leave. Bye." And with that you walk right back where you came from, leaving the boy confused.

You walk for a few minutes, headed towards a section of the woods that surround the village, until you're far away from the entrance. "Guess I'll go in full spy mode." You say as you begin to run and prepare to jump. You take a leap of the floor and take a quick deep breath before dropping right down into the floor, like you have done so many times before. By now you have learned that the fastes way to move beneath the dirt is by going further down, were it's impossible to see other people's chakra systmes. That way by moving a few inches you're actually transporting yourself much more on top. As if you were flying right beneath the dirt. 'Stupid kid.' You say to yourself as you move quickly, doing skipping motions just like you would when you jump from tree to tree. Now you just have to get to the Hokage's office. You close your eyes for a second, muttering the words "Chikyuume; Earth Pressure Jutsu", as you make the hand symbol for Earth right in front of your face. This jutsu gives you the ability to see people's chakra systems from far beneath the ground, it can last for hours and is particurlarly useful in missions where you have to locate and capture someone while being unnoticed, since from how beneath you are no other ninja could ever sense you. Normally, you would have to see the person's chakra system before in order to locate them, but with time you've noticed that most rulers tend to have more complex systems than the rest of their citizens, therefore making them easily spottable. "There you are." You stop in your tracks as you see the Third Hokage sitting on his chair. You slowly move closer to the building his in and decide to come off the ground right behind the building, as to not cause a scene. You carefully get near the surface and gently peel yourself from the ground. You shake a bit of dirt from your clothes and begin to walk towards the right wall of the building, where there's a window to the Hokage's office that's open. "Alright, here I g--" You prepare to jump in order to climb up the bulding but you stop midway as you notice that there's someone who just happened to watch you come out of the ground.
