Locked Up In Hell

“I’ll take first watch I guess, I don’t want to be woken up and then have to stay up in the middle of the night” said Nolan.

 

Matthew and I layed down using our bags as pillows and it didn’t take me long to fall into a dreamless sleep. I woke up to my watch going crazy, I got up and looked around Matthew and Nolan were fast asleep. I don’t remember getting up to do watch so Nolan must have fallen asleep not long after us. I got up and shook them awake, “get up we have to go check out this place today” I yelled at them. They were wide awake now.

 

“Okay fine you don’t have to yell!” said nolan. I just laughed and helped them up. twenty minutes later we were looking around the jail, our game plan was to secure each floor and when we find the source of the noises, we find out what’s making the noises then bolt before someone gets hurt or worse. We decided to go bottom down meaning we go from the top floor to the basement. When we got to the roof there was ropes and ladders bones and clothing, it looked like a mass murder scene, the bones were human and the cloths were too but they were ripped and tattered. The ladders and ropes were probably for escaping, something really bad must have happened for people want to escape from the roof, almost as if the bottom floor was not accessible.

 

“Get off the roof now” I heard Nolan yell. We ran for the door and went to camp to talk about what was going on, “Guys when we were up there all the possibilities of why those things were up there ran through my mind when I came to the one that made the most sense” said Nolan shakily.

 

“I know I was thinking that something bad must have happened here for people to escape from the roof, almost as if you couldn’t escape from the ground floor” I said “and those who couldn’t escape died” I finished

 

“But wouldn’t the ropes be over the side of the building” said Matthew.

 

“Then they must have jumped better a quick death than a long one” said Nolan.

        “Lets just sleep on it okay?” I said. we all laid down and went to sleep.

        When I woke up I found a really big surprise.
