11- Are we Friends?

"Why are you talking like that to her. It's not like we're dating either." Jooheon turns to the girl and face her. Jooheon suddenly change into a different person. His face suddenly turn blank and emotionless. But I can see that he looks like......angry....hurt??

"Oppa! What are you talking about? I know you still love me. Believe me, I love you up until now. Please, let's settle this out." The girl said with a fake smile clingin onto Jooheon's arm and whined like a child.

I just stared at them not knowing what they're talking about. But I'm curious who this girl is.

"Fuck you and your slutty moves Rose! Get the fuck out of my sight and never fucking show your shity face again in front of me. Do you understand that? Or else I won't think twice to hurt you!" Jooheon said angrily. Good thing the teacher is not around.

I was taken aback when Jooheon suddenly grabbed my hand and drag me out of the Gym. We walked and walked not knowing where he'll lead me. But I just followed him quietly because maybe this isn't the time to speak he's still angry.

"Jooheon, please! Stop for a moment Please.. I.. I need to breathe." I finally spoke while catching my breath. Jooheon looked so upset and he didn't even bother to look back, he just walked and walked and walked while holding my hand and drag me out of nowhere.

I just looked at him, sadness is drawn all over his face. I want to ask him if he's okay, but I'm afraid he might hurt me. But something inside me was saying 'ask him. He needs you'.

So maybe there is nothing to loose when I ask right.

"Jooheon....." I softly called with concern. His hold on my hand tightens, he looked at me not with anger but with his teary eyes. He looked up and blinked his eyes so the tears won't fall, But it was too late.

Why is he crying?

"Aiiish! Fucking slut!!!" He let go of my arm and curse  then punch the tree in front of him. He stuck his forehead on the tree and cried his eyes.

"A-are you o-okay?" I questioned as I earned all the courage to speak to him.

Fucking Pabo!! Of course he's not okay! You see he's crying right? You should have asks better!

He didn't say anything but he ran towards me and I thought he was going to punch me but instead he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me while sobbing on my neck. My eyes widened in shock, my breath hitch, I hesitantly hugged him back. I draw circles at his back for comfort.

"Let's just stay like this for a moment. Just please.."

Is this serious? The great Jooheon that everyone was fearing was now crying in front of me?

I asked my self. I've been in this fucking school for fucking 2 days and I've been hearing a lot from some of the students that the great Jooheon only shows two expressions. His seriousness and when he's happy bullying someone.

But is he really happy when he picks a fight or bullies someone? I don't think so.

"I missed you. And I'm sure he misses you more that us." Jooheon hugs ne tighter. I don't understand what he was saying.

Miss? Me? Who miss me?

He back away pulled his handkerchief from his pocket to wipe his tears. I soon realized that a few steps from here are the same river where I met Changkyun.

I immediately forgot what Jooheon said a while back when I saw the beautiful, fascinating scenery in front of me.

"So you go here too?" I asked breaking the awkward silence. The atmosphere is surprisingly comfortable maybe because of the beautiful clear river that's in front of us.

"Hmmm." He and nodded. I observe that he looks calmer now that he is earlier. "How do you know this place?" Jooheon questioned not angry or anything he just asked without awkwardness.

"I accidentally ran to this place when the incident happened yesterday at the cafeteria. I ran away because I'm kinda confused on what was happening. Like I was new yesterday and in a blink of an eye, a lot of things are happening. I'm kinda afraid that I was really trying my best not to be carried away." I looked at him looking at me with full of emotions

"Sorry did I talked too much?" I apologized.

"No. Its okay." He chuckles. This is thw first time I heard him chuckle. His smile is genuine, it's priceless.

Wow, those dimples are really attractive and deep, and his eyes are forming into very thin line almost vanishing from his face when he's not faking his smile. What a cutie.

"How are you related to Shownu?"  He asked while looking at the river. He picked up a stone and threw it in the river. Just like what Changkyun did.

"It's just that he saw me yesterday with Kihyun he even Told me that I'm his next target. I mean I'm sure he said 'they' but you don't seem like a bad guy." I explained.

"I see." He replied shortly and sofly.

"So...... If you don't mind me asking. Why did you ran away all of a sudden dragging my hand and pulled me all the way here?" I said with full of curiosity. He frowned at the sudden question. Well, I'm not sure if it was because of the question or because of the....'girl'?

"I don't know. I wasn't thinking and all I could think off is I have to get out as soon as possible." He replied.

"Why?" I asked.

"Someone I've been avoiding the last 2 months showed up. Saying some nonsense things. And I just realized something."

"Realize what?"

"It's none of your business. Don't tell anyone what you saw. I'll kill you if I found out that you told someone about that."

He's serious. Wow!

I laugh under my breath with a 'are-you-serious' face. I don't know why but it really surprised me that he's seriously talking to me. I mean maybe this is the start of our.... friendship.

"I promise. Don't worry I can keep promises." I smiled at him and he smiles back.

We sat below the tree near the river where I and Changkyun sat yesterday. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes as I relax myself with the sound of the river flowing and birds twitting, whilst inhaling the cool freah air.

This is so awesome.....

"Where is Kihyun? I haven't seen him after what happened this morning." I asked breaking the now comfortable silence between us.

"Handling some businesses? His grandfather called him and excused him to all his classes saying that something came up and Kihyun need's to fix it. Kihyun has a pretty smart brain. He's good at everything. But he's a jerk sometimes. And bullying is his stress reliever." Jooheon explained his eyes not leaving the river while picking up stones and throwing them at the river.

"I thought you were involve in a some kinda of a  gang." I said and He laughed again.

Why is he laughing? Did I say something funny?

I looked at him and suddenly felt amused. I chuckle a bit. He really looks beautiful a good looking man. But why is he crying like that to a girl when he can drive lots of girls crazy around him.

"Let's go. The teacher must be looking for us. We have to go to the gym." He said and started walking.

"Are we friends now?" I asked. He turns to look at me then smile, then answer a small"maybe" Shrugging his shoulders then walk away.
