A Productive Thought

Chapter 2

Latrell

I woke up in Po's bed with just a white-t and some boxers. I looked over at Rhythm who was in the middle of the bed knocked out and Po who was on the side about to fall off. I moved Rhythm to where I was originally sleeping and damn she didn't even budge. I swear that girl slept hard then a bitch. I then moved Po over a little to the middle so that she wouldn't fall off the bed.

I looked around the room for my clothes and found them. I went to the bathroom needing to brush my teeth. I just used Po's toothbrush. I always stayed at her house often and it was in bad condition. Po lived in the down and out for real. I called up Lenny one of my drivers to take me home.

"Lenny" I said

"Yes sir, what can I do for you Mr. Brown?" he asked

"I need you to pick me up from my girls house"

"And which one may that be sir?"

"Aha I see you got jokes but Po"

"Yes sir I'll be there as fast as I can"

I hung up the phone after that. I didn't feel like going into conversation with him.

Lenny was about 5'7 and he was a old white man. He was always cracking corny ass jokes but they would be funny sometimes. Lenny been are driver since I moved with my father. I like Lenny cause he is a real ass white man.

I went into a gaze as I looked at myself in the mirror but a smell caught my attention. It smelled good to, like amazing.

'Breakfast' I said to myself

I left the bathroom door open running to the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen to see Po and Rhythm cooking and dancing to Lauryn Hills "Doo Wop (That Thing)".

Guys you know you better watch out.

Some girls, some girls are only about.

That thing, that thing, that thing.

Po had on some booty shorts that hugged her curves tight and she had on a T-shirt that said "boss". Rhythm just had on a regular pajama set with cupcakes on the top and bottom.

They looked happy and I liked to see them happy especially Po. I walked up behind Po who was scrambling some eggs. I kissed her on her neck and blew softly on her ear. I could feel my dick rise when I pressed against her. I pulled back when I remembered Rhythm was right there.

"Go sit down, you is staying for breakfast right?" Po asked.

"Yeah, but hurry up cause Lenny on his way" I said.

"Yay Latrell staying for breakfast, breakfast, breakfast" Rhythm sang.

Po just looked at me then at Rhythm. I saw a small smile form across her face. I instantly smiled at the sight. Her smile was amazing she had perfect teeth. I looked her up and down before I went to the refrigerator getting something to drink. I pulled out a full carton of fruit punch from the fridge and I instantly started drinking it. I put it back before Po said.

"Bae your food is ready"

I loved it when she talked to me like that she just got that sweet angelic voice but its got a sexy tang to it.

I sat back down at the table next to a smiling Rhythm. We sat at the table holding hands to pray over our food.

"I'll say grace" Rhythm offered.

"OK go ahead" Po said.

We all closed our eyes and bowed our heads.

"Dear god please bless this food that we are about to eat and please bless my family. One more thing lord, just please take care of my mommy. In Jesus name we pray, amen".

Poetry

Rhythm always prayed for our mother but I hated her. She left us in this pissy ass place and she didn't want us to survive. She don't give a fuck about me or Rhythm. I'm very angry at her for all the bullshit she pulled.

We dug into the delicious breakfast me and Rhythm prepared. Everything was perfect just how I like, just Rhythm, Latrell, and I. No hoes, no business, and no other types of distractions just us.

We finished breakfast and I took all the dishes to the kitchen. I turned on the water putting soap in the sink. Rhythm went to her room to do something. Latrell walked in the kitchen coming to help me.

"You know, I felt like a dad for 2 seconds" he said.

"Oh yeah?" I questioned laughing at his comment.

He looked at me crazy before he splashed water all over me. I splashed a whole bunch on him after that. Rhythm came out her room joining our little water fight and it was so fun. 'There goes another moment I'll remember' I thought to myself.

We were all sitting on the couch before Latrell's phone rang.

"Hello......Yeah.......Ight......Here I come" he said looking at me.

"You gotta go already?" Rhythm asked.

"Yeah but i'ma see you later bug" he said getting on his knees hugging her. He put his shoes on before walking over to me.

"Bye Po i'ma call you later baby" he said kissing me.

"Yeah you better" I said rolling my eyes.

He smirked at me before I followed him to the door sending him off. A black escalade picked him up this time and Lenny was driving. I didn't want to argue with him about his drivers but Lenny is the only one I know of. I let the thought go to the back of my head.

"I hate to see him go but I love to watch him leave".
