She went to school on Monday and she only thought about that meeting, she watched every clock she could find hoping they would slow down but before she knew it that day was gone and it was Tuesday. Her meeting was at 3:30 but they had to go early to fill out papers so her mother picked her up at 2:30 from school.
When she got out to the car her mother asked "How was your day?" Juliet gave her the nastiest look and snapped back "Fine till i got stuck going to this stupid meeting!" "Look Juliet, I am only trying to help you!".
They sat in silence the whole ride there, until finally they pulled up to this brick building. Juliet had seen it before, she just couldn't think as to when. When they walked in they went to the front desk, the lady there was rather old, dark hair and was wearing black glasses.
After waiting 10 minute her dad showed up, not her step dad her real dad. Why was he there? she thought to herself. Her mother stood up and said " hey thanks for coming on such short notice. I didn't expect to have to leave. I'm so sorry Juliet." her mother kissed her on her head and walked off.
"Hey kiddo, how's it going" her father spoke. he always talked to her like that, as if he just didn't know what to call her. "Well I'm here aren't I?" he didn't have time to say anything because a lady with dark hair around her 30's walked out a door that was in front of them and waved her over. Juliet and her dad both stood up and he started to follow behind her but Juliet turned back "No stay here." she said kind of angrily. Her dad looked down and sat back down in the grey office chair.
The girl led her to a room with a little table and she had crayons on the table and a book. They both sat down at the table and the woman asked "So Juliet? isn't it?" "yeah that's me." she replied very annoyed. "what brings you here?" the woman asked with a smile, "Didn't my mother already tell you? isn't that what happens here? we give you a problem and then you talk to me and tell me how to fix it, then I go home and never come back." Juliet's attitude was strong that day.
"well I know bits and pieces but I need to know your story, and you don't just come and never come back. You come every 2 weeks and we chat. we can have them at your school or here at the office." "I'd rather have them at school, I don't like this place it makes me feel like I'm only here to get help that i don't need. You see, I told my mom about these stupid dreams I have been having and she just brought me here." the woman just looked at her.
