Waking up from an uncomfortable and tiring sleep to find myself in Altona already. I was wrecked. Stepping out of the carriage, the fresh smell of sea water and hearing the sound of the morning markets, I begin to look around to collect an image of my surroundings. Straight across from me was a tall, skinny building. The door was wooden and had a glass circle with multi coloured stones around it on the top. The windows were also tall and skinny creating an image of the house which was even smaller. The stone building was made of a lightly coloured and harshly textured brick.
Suddenly, the dark wooden door opened and a man walked out. He looked young, almost younger than my dad. His mid thirties or even late twenties, I was stunned and thought that maybe this isn't Hector yet. The blonde haired man came walking towards me and I realised his eyes were like two shining emeralds and as he came closer the words,"Hello Theo, my name's Hector, pleased to meet you", He told me as his hand raised and his lips stretched cheek to cheek. I grinned as I shook his hand and replied,"My pleasure to meet you Hector, my name's Theo as you know and my father told me so much about you, I was expecting you to be much older", i laughed near the end and he replied with a light laugh too.
Hector swished his ring finger and out of no where my luggage began 'walking' into his home. They literally grew legs and walked in. My jaw dropped as all I could tell him was,"wow", he looked up and smiled again, his teeth as white as snow.
I got all my remaining stuff and got into the house. Upon walking in Hector clasps his hands, the lights turn on as he says,"Lucie, Jasper, I have brought you your new friend!", two teenagers walked down, they were around my age which was thirteen. Lucie and I immediately got along, she was smiley and joyful all time, full of energy and always had something to talk to you about. Jasper was smiling at me too, his eyes looked like two ocean jewels glistening in the summer sun and his hair was as dark as the clear night sky, he just said,"Hey newbie", I didn't really know what to say so I smiled at him.
Hector told me I could go upstairs, get changed and if I want to wash up. Breakfast would be ready in an hour.
