"Brother!" a young voice shouts. "Brother! Please wake up!". The voice becomes distant, and a door slams. In just a few seconds, from behind the closed door, there's a shriek coming from the young voice.
Dabi jumps up from his bed all shaken up. His body's covered in sweat, and he's panting rapidly as if he forgot how to breathe. He slowly begins to catch his breath and throws himself back onto his pillow. It's damp. "Fucking gross". He reaches under his head, grabbing his pillow, and throws it across the room. He sits back up and drops his head onto his hands. "Another damn nightmare!" He clenches his teeth, with a small growl slipping out the edge of his lips.
Dabi walks out of his room, looking around making sure no one's around. He paces down the hall and begins to talk to himself. "You left! You left him alone! You left him to suffer his abuse alone!" He picks up his pace, and his footsteps echos behind him. "You left him! It's your fault! You're the one to blame for these stupid dreams!" He walks by an open door without noticing it. Tomura walks out from the door and snaps. "Hey! What the hell are you blabbering about?" Dabi stops and glances back. The voice of Tomura isn't the first thing he wants to hear when he wakes up from a nap. "You sure make me want to vomit, Tomura? What the hell do you want?"
"There's something you need to take care of." Tomura walks out the doorway and reaches Dabi. "Follow me, I'll explain the details when we meet up with the others." Dabi really hoped that Tomura wasn't listening to what he was saying as walked down the hall. Dabi hates his father, he wouldn't even want to be associated with him. Knowing that his little brother grew up alone with him, made him worry. Brother! The voice repeats. Dabi stops and looks down. His body begins to tremble. His face, that's what he remembers from their last encounter. It was burnt. He clenches his fist and wants to scream, but Tomura is in front of him and he doesn't want to speak about his brother at that very moment. Brother! The voice keeps on ringing in his head and he wants it out. He bites his lips and tugs on his hair. "DAMMIT WHY WON'T HIS VOICE LEAVE ME ALONE!" he shouts. Tomura turns around and laughs.
"Looks like someone's having 'brother' issues." Tomura snarks.
"I don't want to discuss this."
"I really don't care, as long as you're able to carry out your mission."
Tomura points down the hall and snaps at Dabi. "Hurry up and get your ass moving. Think about your pest of a brother later! The others are waiting." Dabi stands straight and clenches his teeth. The word 'pest' really seemed to have pissed him off. "What did I tell you about calling my little brother names! Tomura, you fuckin' sicken me." Tomura laughs and shrugs it off, Dabi's words seem to have no affect on him in any sort of way. With the lift of an arm, Tomura scratches his neck and sighs with disappointment, "I've already told you. If your brother becomes the objective of a mission, the order will be to eliminate him. If that doesn't happen, then I'll take matter into my own hands."
Dabi knew there wasn't anything he can do to go against Tomura's word. If he spared his brother's life, Tomura will go ahead and kill him on his own free time. But if he had to, that meant the he would have to kill his own brother. The thought made Dabi tremble. Nonetheless, all he really hoped was that his brother doesn't become the objective of any sort of mission.
When they meet up with the others, Toga's the first person to welcome Dabi. "Oh Dabi, you're finally here! Took you awhile! Nevermind that, wonder what type of fun we'll have! I really hope we'll get rid of one of those stupid heroes!" Dabi sighs, steps back, and leans against the wall. The only reason why he acknowledges Toga was due to her interest in Stain's ideology, but other than that, he considers her crazy. He looks up and immediately drops his head with a big ole sigh, he whispers under his breath "She sure does blabber a lot.: The only person who hears him is Tomura.
