Chapter 2

I walked into the cafeteria for lunch, one of the best subjects of the day. It's the only subject where I can avoid the boys. And also because I get to eat food.

I don't really have any close friends except for my sisters Morgan and Maddie so we eat together.(Amber's in middle school)

I got into the lunch line and grabbed a hideous dark blue tray and piled on the food. I decided on a plate of spaghetti, a roll, a small bowl of broccoli and red Jell-O to go along and a water bottle. I paid for my lunch and started walking over to my sisters.

As I was walking over to my sisters, minding my own business, Carter Reynolds stuck his foot out in the aisle and I went flying. The spaghetti I was so excited to eat went all over me.(sarcasm)

"Great day to wear a white t-shirt." I murmured to myself while getting up.

"You little piece of shit! You did that on purpose." I yelled at him.

"Opps sorry I didn't see you there." He said with a grin on his face. He looked down at the bowl of Jell-O. Why is he picking it up? Is he going to ea- The Jell-O was smashed in my face.

"Or there," he laughed along with the entire lunch room.

I was walking home because my older sister couldn't pick me up.

I was halfway home when someone grabbed my wrist. I turned around expecting it to be Maddie or Morgan but instead I was face to face with Carter Reynolds.

"What do you want Carter?" I asked rolling my eyes annoyed.

"I want to talk to you." He said looking at the ground.

"About what?" I asked wondering why he seemed so nervous.

"I'm really sorry that we bully you." Carter said looking into my eyes.

"Really?" I asked wondering why he regretted bulling me.

"Yeah and I want to make up for it by inviting you to a party that we are having tonight at six." Carter said.

"I'll try to make it." I said slightly smiling.

"Reese, I don't know about this." Morgan said with a worried look on her face.

"Morgan, calm down I'm going to be fine and besides Amber is coming with me. " I said trying to calm her down.

"I am not coming with you." Amber said while stuffing some nacho Doritos in her mouth.

"Why not?" I asked

"Because I want to stay at home and do nothing and hang out with the Bæ, Netflix." She said acting like it was a good reason

"Please go with me." I said starting to whine.

"I don't want to." She said whining while stomping her feet on the ground.

"I'll buy you Taco Bell." I said making her eyes widen and her smile.

"I'll be ready in 10 minutes." she said running upstairs
