Ch 42 | Narration

Momo is walking on the streets and there are no people around. It's still early in the morning so it's not surprising that no one's around. She glanced at the big screen on the buildings, it features the birthday boy. She smiled lightly, she knew that Suga has gone too far from his journey as an idol. She knew that he always wanted to become an idol even though his parents don't approve of it. She looks at the paper bag that she's carrying. Inside that paper bag, there's a box of strawberry cake and her present for Suga. She's now excited to meet him and greet him a happy birthday in person.

She arrived at the park and she saw Suga, who's waiting for her to arrive. She grinned mischievously and she's thinking something fun. She cautiously walked towards him and then..

"Suga!!" Momo glomped at Suga and she's now clinging onto him like a koala. Suga almost lost his balance from the sudden glomp from the female. He grabs ahold of her arms wrapped around him and he's trying his best to carry her.

"Y-Yah! Let me go!!" Suga whined while spinning around so that Momo will get dizzy and let him go.

Momo released him from the tight hug and she laughed amusedly "Geez, I'm enjoying it!"

Suga frowned slightly before flicking her forehead "Pabo..."

"Yah? That hurts!" Momo puffed her cheeks while rubbing her forehead. The platinum blonde-haired boy ruffled her hair and he noticed the paper bag that she's holding.

"What's that?"

Momo grinned before dragging Suga towards the bench for them to sit down. Momo placed the paper bag on the space between them and she took out the box inside the paper bag "Tadaa~!"

Suga blinked a few times seeing the box. He didn't expect that Momo will buy a birthday cake for him despite her busy schedules "Is... That for me?"

"Of course, silly!" She laughed while opening the box, revealing the cake to him. It was designed with sliced of strawberries and some glazed of chocolate syrup on top of it. She placed the candles around the cake before lighting it up with a match stick.

Suga smiled amusedly and he took his phone before tapping the camera "Can you sing happy birthday to me again while holding the cake?"

Momo's mouth hangs open and she looked at him with wide eyes "Are you serious?!"

"Since when that I'm not serious? Come on, sing for me... I want to video you while singing me a happy birthday..."

"Eh... Alright. Anything for the birthday boy!" She beamed happily before carrying the cake and she starts singing a happy birthday song to him. As for Suga, he also started taking a video of her singing the birthday song. He will watch it every day and he will never get tired of it.

"Happy birthday to youuu~" Momo hummed happily and she already finished singing the song for him. "Make a wish now!"

Suga closed his eyes and starts wishing. Momo's wondering what's his wish but she chose not to ask him after blowing the candles. The birthday boy blew the candles and his girlfriend bounced on her seat happily "Yay!!" she giggled happily before placing the cake down and removing the candles from the cake.

"You really prepared everything, huh?" Suga said while watching Momo licking the frosting in her fingers.

"It's your birthday so I need to prepare everything!" She said and she takes the present inside the paper bag before giving it to him "Here's my present for you!"

"O-Oh...." A faint blush appeared on Suga's place cheeks seeing the present and he took it from her. He unwrapped his present and his present is a silver ring necklace.

"W-Well, I noticed that you like to wear necklaces, especially if the necklace adds more swag on you... That's why I chose that present for you..." Momo explained to him sheepishly while scratching her cheek.

Suga gave her a gummy smile before pinching her cheek affectionately "Thank you, jagiya..."

"You're welcome!" she beamed happily and she suddenly leaned forward to him "And there's more..."

"Hm?" Suga blinked once when he noticed that her face was already close to him. Before he could say something, soft and warm lips are already against his lips. He blinked in surprise from the sudden kiss of Momo. He closed his eyes and kisses her fully, the kiss was sweet and tender; like the cake. He caressed her cheek while kissing her and after some time, they parted away and looking at each other.

"That was great..." He grinned widely

Momo hit his arm playfully before dipping her finger on the frosting of the cake and wipes it on Suga's nose "Yes it is great~"

Suga jaw-dropped and stared at Momo blankly. He scooped more frosting on the cake and wipes it on Momo's cheeks "Payback..."

"H-Hey!" Momo whined while flailing her arms which made Yoongi laughed in amusement.

They spent their time in the park while eating the cake and chatting. Suga can say that this is one of the best birthdays that he has on his entire life. He spent his time with Momo on his birthday even though they couldn't be together in public.
